I say leave America.... moved to say, Paris or S.Africa. Regroup, write some songs (fly A.Keys, J.Legend, or R.Kelly over to co-write) and after a few years
unleash the biggest comeback in history.

Build his record label by signing the hottest of the hot. Even if acquitted, people will forever look at him sideways. It'd be next to impossible to sell records and regain the popularity he once had.
