Wait a minute... let me make sure I have this right. You believe Quientin Wiggins set the 2008-2009 athletic budget? Our current (2007-2008) budget is not $6M. :retard:

This came from the houston chronicle:

Slade hired Wiggins as CFO despite his record of crimes of moral turpitude. Before being hired, Wiggins was convicted of two DWIs, unlawfully taking unemployment compensation and impersonating a police officer.

When Holderman questioned Wiggins about the expenses and the HEAF account, Wiggins said he didn't know anything about it.

He said it was an obvious error, and that Slade should have been billed for it, Holderman testified.

After saying he would take care of it, Wiggins asked Holderman not to tell the board of regents.

"He said, `We don't have to tell the regents about this, do we?' " Holderman testified.

Holderman then told the regents, which set into motion an investigation that led to the termination of Wiggins and Slade.

Wiggins was convicted in May in connection with the spending scandal that shocked the long-troubled university. He was sentenced to 10 years in prison.
