Let the games begin......

Lakers in six or less. Too much team defense, too much team passing, too much Laker bench and too much Kobe.

As bad as I'd like the Lakers to win, I love Manu Ginobli's game and Duncan's as well. Ginobli's game is on the same level as Kobe's IMO. I'd prolly choose Ginobli over Kobe strictly because Ginobli WANTS to pass whereas Kobe doesn't trust too much, therefore he doesn't pass as much as he needs to. :read: I think that's a personnel issue but still...

I can't call this one. Spurs are playoff experienced and show great class/maturity. The Lakes are somewhat 'veteran' and show great class/maturity as well.

It'll be a close series, hopefully.

I actually like both these teams but I'm pissed b/c one of them beat my team...so screw them too.

Ginobli on Kobe's level?????
:lmao:

This series will come down to whether the Lakers younger players who have not been this deep in the playoffs can overcome the Spurs experience.

Kobe is going to get his no doubt. The Spurs will not stop him. The key will be if Gasol, Odom and others step up to help Kobe when he needs it.

Tony Parker is key to this series. He just had a tough series guarding Chris Paul........He will have an easier time of it with the Lakers point guards. If Tony Parker gets off.........that means Ginobli and Duncan will have an easier time of it. Tim will be more of a factor as well. The Hornets had younger big men to keep him working. Gasol will test him somewhat on offense. Tim is going to be able to score more on Gasol than he did against New Orleans.

I think the Spurs playoff experience and the hard fought series against a younger New Orleans team will help them get by the Lakers. But not by much. However, the Lakers are primed for a trip to the Finals. So I would not be surprised if they did beat the Spurs. I know David Stern is hoping so.
Should be a good series.

Pantro, from now on, you have zero credibility when commenting on basketball. Ginobli is not even in the same country as Kobe.........

Lakers in 6.

The Lakers are my team...GOOO LAKERS!!!!

btw: I reallly realllly realllly dislike the Spurs (hope you get my point)....omg talkin about some cry-babies!!! ugh.......

Y'all don't know how to recognize talent do you? lol I see why the SWAC is considered "third" world. lol

Kobe has mad game, true enough. Kobe doesn't pass when he needs to IMO. Ginobli has game. Watch him on BOTH ends of the court. If he's lazy on "O" or "D" (esp helping out and rebounding :read: ), I've never seen it. This is the same guy who single-handedly handed your paultry olympic "nba stars" a severe loss a few years ago. lol Can you say bronze medal again for your "dream" team? :emlaugh:

Lefty is good in my book.

I'mma go onna limb and say the Lakers in 5.

I think the Spurs certainly have an edge in playoff experience, can't deny that. But I think the Lakers are playing unselfish basketball, which makes them nearly impossible to beat.

Lakers in 5!

I think the Lakers will pick up the 1st 2 games in LA, split in San Antonio and wrap it up in LA.

Go Lakers!

He stayed in college all four years just because he loved to go to class.

He was one of the few 7-footers to swim competitively because he dreamed of making the United States Olympic team.

He is the only man in the history of the NBA who shows no emotion when dunking, rebounding or doing much of anything on a basketball court.

He speaks in two second sound bites.

No one has ever seen him speak to the opposite sex, but he is married....That's right, married.

He has won the NBA MVP and NBA Finals MVP, but few observers even know about it.

His French teammate has a hot wife who is more famous than the both of them combined.

He is.......... The World's Most Uninteresting NBA Champion.
