NBA Summer League action





I have been watchin. I was impressed with Mike Conley. But I was not as impressed by Greg Oden's play. Maybe it's the media but I expected more than what he is doing being the 1st pick of the draft and all. Also, I do not see how Taverean Green went late second round because he looks like a player.

The big Chinese cat looks pretty good, too... Oden will need to find a few more post moves, and not FOUL so much...
 
Chinese guy does look pretty good. He dunked on someone the other day didn't he?? Did you you see Rudy Gay's reverse dunk on that same chinese guy??Also the kid for the Maverick's doing all of that low post scoring, I like his game.

Oden will be fine. Sometimes it takes centers a little longer to adjust. Green was a steal. His stock fell because he had a poor first day at the pre-draft camp and he is short.

I don't put to much into what i see in the summer leagues. Kawame Brown looked good in the summer league a few years ago. Marvin Williams got MVP of his summer league last year. Things change when they start playing against real NBA players. In training camp you'll see why Green was a 2nd round pick instead of a 1st round.
 
Durants not looking that good. Oden wasn't that impressive as well in his first game. Green and Chandler (Knicks #1) don't look to bad though.

I hear Odem will be out for the rest of the league due to his tonsils being taken out.
I keep forgetting that he is still a kid.
 
In Monday's game DNP(did not play) coaches desicion, in Tuesday's game 17 mins, 0 for 2 from the field, 4 rebs, 1 assist. I wish I had better news.

The Italian kid Bellini is gonna fit right in at Golden State...Dude can really shoot the rock (had a 37 pt. outing this week; been averaging about 24 a game)

JJ Reddick's been lighing it up too for the Magic; He dropped a 30 spot this week, too.

My Wiz haven't won a game yet, but Nick Young and Dominic McGuire look pretty good.
 
Those Memphis Grizzlies put a whopping on the Cavs. I think Memphis made some good decisions. West has set them up to be successful with some more cap room after the Darco signing.
