NBA Playoff Memories.....

What are some of your greatest memories in the NBA Playoffs? It could be a specific play, performance, a coach screaming at the officials, or the players.

What is it at one time that made you say, NBA action is Fantastic!!!!

Mine are:

Dr. J's dunk on Michael Cooper, in the Finals
Moses Malone's infamous fo-fi-fo
Michael Jordan, hitting 63 on the Celtics
Michael Jordan's jumper on Craig Ehlo in game 7
Magic Johnson's 42 points in the Finals against the 6'xers
Magic's hook against the Celtics in game 6 of the 87 Finals
John Starks' dunk on MJ, & Horace Grant in the Eastern Conference Finals
Jack Ramsey's plaid pants in Game 6 of the Finals against the 6'xers
Larry Bird stealing Isiah's inbound pass for the win in a crucial Game 5
Isiah scoring 42 on the Lakers with one leg in Game 6 of the Finals
Dikembe Mutombo squeezing the basketball after Denver came back to beat Seattle
Shaq crying over the Larry O'brien Trophy after 1st championship
Mark Madsen's dance last year

NICE

Don't forget about Mike "switching hands" against the Lakers in '91...

Mike "unconsciously" hitting the 3's against Portland...

Kobe throwin' the NASTY ally oop to Shaq in the 2000 Finals....

I got more, but I'm drawing a blank now...:(

Who was that Kevin Johnson dunked on that time? Dayum...I can't remember the team or whether it was the playoff. :xeye:

-Kareem's finals MVP at 38 after a miserable game one.
-The Lakers winning the title on Boston's home floor in 1985.
-The Bulls beating the Pistons in '91.
-The Lakers beating the Celtics in '87.
-Dr. J's performance in a game five and series lost to L.A. The Doctor was the best player on the court that night.
-Olajuwon dominating the season's MVP David Robinson in the '95 conference finals.
-Michael Cooper pointing to someone in the stands in the Boston garden after L.A. won game four in 1987.
-Kareem averaging over 40 points per game against Golden State in '77.
-Spud Webb shooting two free throws in the final seconds to beat Detriot in '86.
-Pheonix and Chicago in game three in '93.
-Reggie Miller's game winning shot in game three in '98 against the Bulls.
-Pheonix and Boston in '76. Nothing else needs to be said.
-Alan Houston's shot in game five against Miami in '99. Sure the Heat-Knicks series were ugly, but they had their moments.

Ntelekt, Kevin Johnson dunked on Olajuwon in '94 in a game in Pheonix. Also, Olajuwon blocked a Kevin Johnson break away dunk during the same series. The series between Pheonix and Houston in '94 and '95 were two of the more exciting series that I have ever seen.

Preciate that, EB! :)

I thought it was Hakeem, but I wasn't sure so I drew the blank.

Oh yeah...don't forget about Reggie going on a scoring spree in the last 15 seconds of the game to be the Knicks in the Eastern Finals.

Moses Malone leading his people to the "Promised Land" against the Lakers. (I was heartbroken :( )

D-Nice and EB hit on a lot of them. If you're basketball fan of the seventies, you got to remember the playoffs these guys had.

Earl the Pearl (Knicks)

Downtown Freddie Brown (Sonics)

Bobby Dandridge (Bucks and Bullets)

Nick Weatherspoon (Bullets)

I remember Bobby Dandridge with the Bullets. The brother, an HBCU grad, could play.

When Philly beat L.A. in '83, I was heartbroken. But now I am glad that the Doctor has an NBA ring.

What I will remember most is a lot of these little touch fouls the refs are calling. I saw a lot of phantom calls are calls that should have been let go.
