NBA Offseason

Re: Kevin Love rumors

Love on the Bulls makes them a better team because he's a better basketball player than the players they would be giving up in a trade. How hard is that to understand?

He's better than those players individually. However, you don't gut out your roster like the Bulls could possibly do in this case. They are fine at the PF position. Love won't have these type of numbers in Chicago. You need depth to win in the NBA. If Love gets hurts, who will the Bulls turn to? Please answer that question

What if LeBron gets hurt? What if Durant gets hurt? What if George gets hurt?

Anytime one of your best players get hurt, it will negatively impact the team.

But, you can't be afraid to make a deal because a player might get hurt.

Those players are not being traded for. You still haven't stated how he makes the TEAM overall if this trade happens. All you've stated is that he's better individually.

Re: Kevin Love rumors

It's funny that you are the only one on here that thinks this a good trade for the Bulls

Re: Kevin Love rumors

Apparently, you don't watch enough basketball or sports for that matter to realize that a team's chemistry is important for them to win championships

Re: Kevin Love rumors

If anything, Chicago is bluffing to force Cleveland to give up more players to get Love

Re: Kevin Love rumors

You're right. NBA teams shouldn't have the desire to acquire talented players. Sorry for making the mistake of thinking otherwise.

Apparently they are talented if they are in the NBA but as a GM you have to make sure that you are a building a team with Needs and not on Wants

The Bulls should want and need a stretch 4 who can get ya 26 and 13, can run the floor, is a great passer, rebounder and would take pressure off Rose. AND he's an All-Star?

Nah, who wants that guy?

Love will not average that with the Bulls. IF you think that you are Basketball IQ is even lower than I thought. They've brought in a stretch four, a former All Star four and have a returning four that has improved every year.

I'm not saying Love is going to put up those numbers in Chicago or elsewhere. But to have a guy like that who has proven he can score and board night in and night at out at an elite level is a very valuable commodity.

Having a player of Love's caliber on a team with other good players like Rose, Noah and Gasol only makes everyone else's job that much easier and free of so much responsibly.

Plus, it provides so many other options for Thibs. For example, you can't spread the floor with Butler and Gibson like you can with Love. He's a guy who can score from the paint and from 3. This makes it easier for Rose to attack the rim because the lane isn't crowded all the time.

You can work the high-low with Love because he's a great passer and solid finisher. You can run your offense through him on occasion, too. He can pick and pop with Rose. Options are endless.

But, I know nothing about basketball.

Love is not needed on the Bulls. What part of that can't you comprehend? He might be wanted but he's not needed. The 4 & 5 positions are solid and are not a weakness on this team. Their weakness is at the SG position. Any team would want Love but they wouldn't/shouldn't take him if it jeopardizes team chemistry. If you believe that adding Love will improve team chemistry then you really don't know basketball.

Re: Kevin Love rumors

Nine times out of 10 I would think seriously about making the deal if I was in Cleveland. However, ...

All Size with no wing players to do isht. Cleveland should tell Minnesota to go jump in a late. If I am them I roll the dice with Wiggins, Bennett etc and get Ray Allen to come play with the youngsters. Or either trade for Greg Monroe from Detroit for less if they need a big man so bad. You probably could give Detroit Bennett and Waiters for Monroe.

Minnesota is hosed. Teams can play the waiting game. The offers will get worse after the season starts.

I am for keeping Wiggins especially if Ray Allen goes to the Cavs.

Exactly! It makes more sense for Cleveland to do this instead of the Bulls. If they decide to keep Wiggins then Chicago should not worry about Love

How does having Mike Dunleavy on the T-Wolves make them a better team as part of a trade for Kevin Love?

Wiggins is 19. LeBron is 30. LeBron wants Love, 25, because he wants to win now. That's why Mike Miller, James Jones and Ray Allen could all be on the Cavs.

Again, you are still focusing on one player and not the rest of the players be included. As of right now, McBuckets is not a better player than Dunleavey because he's not proven. Dunleavey has been a good consistent shooter in the NBA for 10+ years. The Wolves would be looking to add something instead of lose Love for nothing.

You left off defense. It's clear that you know NOTHING about basketball and the chemistry of it being a team sport. Adding Love will totally kill the depth the Bulls have established this off-season with the addition of Mirotic, McDermott, Gasol, and Brooks. I don't see how Sting has went back and forth with you for this long... :smh:

If Love comes to the Bulls he'll do no more than Boozer did during his time there. It will be nothing more than Boozer 2.0.

Lol yeah that's shame on me.

So, Minny would be better off trading for a so-called proven player in Dunleavy instead of the unproven lottery pick McDermott in trade for Kevin Love. But you wouldn't want the Bulls to part with this same unproven lottery pick in McDermott in a trade for Kevin Love?

Your logic is astounding. Simply astounding.
