NBA Free Agency - Con't

The difference in those cases is that Pat thought LeBron would have signed already and wouldn't need to do that a day before FAs could officially sign contracts. And LeBron was in Miami nearly a week before he left for Vegas.

Kobe was never going to leave the Lakers and Melo was going to leave the Knicks.

LeBron could actually leave the Heat.

So now you finally see what some of us have been telling you on here.

I didn't think it was possible until yesterday when the Cavs cleared out all that cap space.

Before that, everyone was under the impression with the way the Big 3 had handled FA by choosing to opt out of deals it was a foregone conclusion they were going to stay intact in an effort to building around them. It was part of the plan. Why else would those three guys walk away from so much guaranteed money otherwise?

Obviously things have changed.

I'd thought he wouldn't go back to Cleveland -- at least now -- after the way he was treated by Gilbert and the fans after leaving four years ago. He was publicly abused and shamed by people who said they loved him. I thought Cleveland didn't have a team or plan in place like Miami did to win the NBA championship next year and beyond. They hadn't done so while LeBron was there. Why would they have one now?

I guess there is more instability and uncertainty in Miami than in Cleveland, almost a reversal of 2010.

I don't want LBJ in Cleveland for two reasons:

1. That owner and fan base doesn't deserve him.
2. He will be in the same division as the Bulls. That's not good if you're Chicago.

Let me update my prediction:2 of the big 3 will leave.

You called it on Bosh. I think he's pretty much gone. Too much speculation with LeBron. Pics and stories have surfaced about moving trucks and moving vans in front of his house.

I don't know why you're so concern about him going to Cleveland.

If he does that, that's going to do more harm than good to his career IMO. You have a new coach that nobody knows anything about, that has no NBA experience, with an over paid guard that has yet to live up to his hype, and hoping that you can get some scoring support from either Mike Miller or Kevin Love, nether of which can play and defense.

It seems to me, that Chicago would be the odds on favorites, to win the east if that happen.

This has gotten out of hand LOL! Peep this out...

So how much does Kyrie deserves then? Once again, Cleveland is paying for potential. He only 23

1.The Bulls have never beaten a LeBron James-led team in a postseason series. Not in Cleveland or Miami.
2. The Bulls, even with a healthy Rose, will still face the same problem of not having a legit second scorer. That's why they pushed so hard to get Melo.
3. Having LeBron James on your team makes that team better. Cleveland was nothing before him. Championship contenders with him. Nothing without him. Miami couldn't get out of the first round before he got there. They've gone to the Finals four times with him.
So, Kyrie Irving (All-Star) and possibly Love (All-Star) and other pieces (much younger than the Heat core) will be dramatically better team because No. 6 is out there.
4. LeBron made Mike Brown look good as a coach. Something not even Kobe could do. I'm sure David Blatt will be fine as long as LeBron is there.

What made you start to think like this? A couple of days ago, you were making it seem like Lebron would be foolish to leave for Cleveland

The Cavs would be better obviously. But I said I don't think they'd go to the Finals or win the championship with LeBron unless they acquired another star like Love.

Well...I was predicting this all along. Of course he went to Miami to get rings but his heart has always been in Cleveland. Remember, riles whole pitch to get Bron was take cuts to get rings. He has two now, and he feels as if he deserves max money. Everybody thought Cleveland wasn't a possibility, until it was lol. Tbh, after seeing him take miami out of his bio and adding last familia and Tristan and Kyrie did the same I knew what was up. You had to be stupid to think cavs were making moves for no reason lmao.Ppl will hate Bron regardless of what he does. He looks like a douche if he leaves wade hanging and looks like a d!ck head if he leaves Cleveland. ..again.

1) Did you miss the part about having a head coach, with no NBA experience?

2) So what did they do with Hardaway, Alonzo Mourning, Gray Payton, and Eddie Jones

3) What's this?

In his first trip to the NBA Finals, in which Miami faced off against the Dallas Mavericks, Wade had some especially memorable moments. His performance in games three, four, and five, in which he scored 42, 36, and 43 points,[24][25] respectively, helped bring the Heat back from a 0–2 deficit to lead the series 3-2. In Game 3 Wade tied his career playoff high with 42 points and grabbed a career high 13 rebounds.[26] Fifteen of his 42 points came in the fourth quarter, in which the Heat erased a 13-point deficit over the final 6:29 with a 22–7 run which included a go-ahead jumper by NBA veteran Gary Payton that sealed the win.[27] The Heat went on to win Game 6 behind Wade's 36 points, taking the series 4–2, and Wade was presented with the Finals MVP trophy.[28] He became the fifth youngest player in NBA history to capture NBA Finals MVP honors and recorded the third highest scoring average by a player in his first NBA Finals with 34.7 points per game.[12][29] His 33.8 PER in the NBA finals was ranked by ESPN's John Hollinger as the greatest Finals performance since the NBA-ABA merger.[30]
