How you used to be able to walk down the streets and people used to work for something, etc. When I read those statements I thought you were talking about crime, poverty, and how bad the neighborbhoods looked.

That pretty much what they say when we go out for lunch and dinner.. Better school,cheaper taxes etc..

And Styles come on man. If you haven't been to the city since 86 you would expect some changes in 20+ years...Bad and good...

Heck, I read a story a couple of months ago in the Clarion-Ledger about blacks leaving Jackson for the burbs for many of the same reasons folks are leaving Chicago.

My statement about the military coming in was based on the fact that for parts of the City (majority of the City to be exact) it's like living in a war zone. The police aren't doing anything and it's not getting any better so what's the difference from going after "radical terrorist" that will cause harm to a large group of people vs. what the thugs/gang bangers are doing in the hood?!?!

I thought your dumb ass was getting on a plane.

I'm not calling all of the people of Chicago ugly. Just 98% of them. :lol: Once you leave downtown, there is know telling what you might see. :lol: See my folks are light-skinned and beautiful. My folks are outnumbered 1000 to 1 though.
