MVSU to announce new women's basketball head coach

MVSU made a helluva smart move bringing her in!!! I'm sure she can probably coach too!

Lincoln entered the 2015 CIAA Basketball Tournament seeded #1 in the CIAA Northern Division for the first time ever with an 11-5 CIAA record. Lincoln powered past Virginia Union in the quarterfinals round and then upset Livingstone in the semifinals to appear in their first ever Division II championship game.

She was also was named the 2015 CIAA Women's Basketball Coach of the Year after guiding her team to an overall 22-9 record and the Co-Northern Division title. Kern’s teams also showed consistent improvement in the classroom. The women’s basketball team’s grade point average and graduation rates increased in each of the four seasons she headed the program.
