As a longtime Florida fan and person that attended their game tonight, I can tell you that Florida was overrated this year. The team really overachieved this year and depended on the defense to win their games. We have had inconsistent O-line and QB play all season, and you combine that with the fact that Muschamp and the staff have done a horrible job preparing this team to play and show up at every game(See Missouri and UL-Lafayette games). I knew this had a strong possibility of happening tonight. All it took was for our defense to have an off game and that was it. Our offense just doesn't have the fire power to win a shootout.

This Florida team is one year early in their development, next year is supposed to be the "beast" year.

So now we comparing report cards to athleticism? :shame: I guess Ivy League schools should be playing in the Championship game then. How about Brown and Cornell players? They smarter to huh? If Stanford players are so smart, why couldn't they create a winning football plan? :idea:
 
Notre Dame has some athletes. Don't be fooled. They have some azzholes too. Look at the police reports. LOL Not all of them are "cornballs" (thanks GR via Rob Parker).

I'm the biggest Alabama Fan in the WORLD, and I think the game will be close. Nothing would please me more than for Bama to stomp a whole in Notre Dame, but I just don't think its gonna be that way. I've got an uneasy feeling about this game - not sure why. Maybe it that ol' "Luck O' the Irish" thing.

But I do believe Bama will win it. I'll post a score prediction later . . .

Last I checked, Stanford finished the season 12-2. And considering that the athletics program has the second most national championships in history proves that they have a plan that goes beyond football. But proper planning is what smart people do. Athletics is more than football (outside of the South).

Damn, I didn't know a simple comment regarding the student athletes at Stanford would create such blow back. Damn, y'all really love y'all some BAMA/SEC huh?

I am actually pulling for TA&M but I wanna see BAMA get embarrassed. Seriously!

This year, SEC defenses are overated. The only reason why the defenses seem "loaded" is because most of the SEC offenses pretty much suck. Its not hard to pad your stats with bad offenses and FCS schools. Clemson dragged the LSU Defense all over the field worse than what Louisville did to Florida.
