Couldn't have been. Not in '95. My sister lived in Howard Paza Towers at Howard in '89, But the Village at PV is/was(haven't hung out there in more than a few years) pretty cool.
Oh yeah.... Love the endzone at Mumford as long as they don't move the Jukebox!:clap::clap::clap::clap:
 
Guys how big is the weight room? It looks small for a college team. No knock on the facility just noticed that the local High schools in my area have bigger and more equipment.

Shaw, there are HS right here in Minneapolis......actually the one that James Lauranitis and Marion Barber went to that have better facilities than any of our SWAC schools and most FCS schools. They look like a mini Jr college campus. You already know the deal. I will not even get into what the Texas HS facilities look like.

At least now we have a football only facility for the most part (track team will be able to use it)

The weight room I am sure is not as big as some would have liked it. But it is new and has new equipment.

Tn State had 2 complexes (private housing) in 93..... sometimes bf just says things to hear himself talk.
 
Since everyone is throwing out who was the first....

Texas Southern's Greystone Apartments were up and operating in the 1989-1990 academic school year. NOW BEAT IT!!!!!

Hello! :read: Today's kids are spoiled.

Even JR HSs are eons ahead. When I return southward, I'll determine if I can locate some pix of a local JR HS and let you be the judge. lol (3 weight rooms, 3 basketball courts lol, 6 locker rooms for varying sports lol, etc) ---> :retard:

There are 4 HS is my city. They all sport facilities like this. Two are brand new HS with weightroom at 10000 sqft.

JR all that money and to skimp on the part that needed the most.

Looking at those pics. They look about the same size to me. The only thing is those colors make everything pop out. So pics can be deceiving.

SU has not finished doing all the fancy logo painting and stuff yet. So I will reserve judgement until I see it. As for what they need the most. Dude they got all new weights. What are they lacking? Do they need a 200k square foot weight room to lift? I mean really. You think everybody in FCS weight room looks like OB? I can tell you some programs that are winning consistently on FCS level have facilities like that. Richmond don't even have a nice stadium to play in. LOL.
Come Shaw.....you are being a little more critical than you should. The place is really nice from what I can see on camera. The money was spent well in my opinion. Aint like it is something to laugh at. You make it seem like it aint isht.:shame:

10-4. You guys talked bad about our 10,000 sq foot weightroom when this was being built so I expected a lot more. But you're right it's not finish.

JR the OB lockerroom /weightroom is huge these are just snapshots from a fan.

...and I am still trying to understand why Southern moved the football game to Jackson. I wouldn't have mind seeing what that looks like up close (that's the only way I'm going to Mumford).

On top of that.. there are jno pictures in here of the weight room... only the video... And from judging the video, that weight room don't look no where near small...PLUS they were never able to capture a full shot of that room...

From what I saw....That room has more than enough for what a football team NEED and the equipment is new...

Regardless this thread is about SU new facilities... so WTF?!?!

Yep. Also those blue chairback seats on the visitor side are brand new and if not then were repainted but they look brand new. :tup: :tup:

Off the Subject, when I was House shopping, I saw a House on the Internet that looked Huge but I kept thinking to myself the SQfootage looks off... So thinking i might have caught a winner, I took a tour... Man that house had a Glass Wall.. I was like what the F.... Turned around in walked out..lol

Back on subject, the suites seem cool, I would put $750 for the area... As long as we can have drinks, i want to fill like im in a suite in the dome or at Cowboy staduim..

Everything is looking good. I don't know if the new bathrooms will be finished in 2 weeks and stuff like that. I haven't been on that side though because It was just the other day that those old chair backs were sitting in the stadium. Those people work fast as hell.
