Congratulations on the new additions. I was down there during the weekend of the 14th helping my newphew move in and Mumford's additions do look good.
Are the Palisades apartments at SU owned by the same company & The Joiner family as the Palisades at JSU?

Jackson State has them if I'm not mistaken a friend of mine who attended NCCU mentioned something about having them as well.

Thank you, Mr. Jaguar. What other hbcu's have the palisades?

Yeah Mississippi Valley's "Elite Concepts @ The valley" apartments are owned by them as well!!!!

I wish someone would learn how to make them pics fit in the frame.

I was nice today and resized them for you...........

:smh: Somebody always have something to say. Show me any additions to Blackshear or any renovations? The press box is the only thing that has that stadium looking good.

There is a third campus complex, I want to say FAMU, not sure though...

When I was in Tally back in 2001, FAM didn't have one. Florida State had one called University Complex, built by the same folks that did LSU's.

FAMU had the first Tom Joyner project because thats where his sons went. Oscar Joyner had the idea and told his dad about it cuz there wasnt enough quality housing around the campus for FAMU students.

Jax, that is too long ago man. LOL. I think FAMU has built a lot of stuff since 01.

That's going to be corrected....there won't be any "renovations"...

as for private housing, PV was the 1st HBCU to contract it out in 1995 and now it's mainsteeam..problem is private housing is built to a different standard and not as sturdy as the dorms was

No they weren't, where did you hear that?

Thats what was advertised by the SU Foundation in the press release they sent out a few months ago.

For just $500.00 (based on a five home game schedule), Jag fans will receive exclusive wristband access to the luxury Foundation Stadium Club, featuring new indoor restrooms and concessions. While inside the air conditioned Club, they will enjoy an expanded food and beverage menu with the versatility of watching the games from various closed circuit television sets. Other amenities include private restrooms and exclusive access to pre-game VIP functions.

Club members need only walk a few feet outside to their plaza level seats. These wide chair-back stadium seats offer a direct view of the scoreboard and a panoramic view of the field.

Ok, I think those ads come out after some changes were made to the foundation administration. Then after another admin change back to the original administration, the modifications were changed back and the things in the project that came after the initial change were removed and things went back to the original plan. LOL

They didn't need that crap anyway. Let them sit out there like the rest of the fans or stay in the big suites or go to the suites in the press box.:shame:
