Why did it take so long to bring him to justice?


Officials with the Los Angeles Police Department say they arrested Melvin Shane Sparks in North Hollywood around 8 a.m. Friday on a felony warrant charging him with molestation. The alleged molestation took place in 1994, according to a criminal complaint.

WOW! I knew nothing of these charges. Course, I'm not a big "dance reality show" junkie. I've watched America's Best Dance Crew only a few times, so that's how I knew who this was once I clicked the link. wow. :shame:

So they are saying when he was 20 he had sexual relations with a child that at oldest was 10 years old?

Yep, that's what its says.

2009 - 1994 = 15year

He's 35 - 15 = 20 years old

At least 10 years older than his victim....kid was 10 or younger....SMgdH
