MOVE BAYOU CLASSIC OUT OF NEW ORLEANS


You have to love these folks who probably travel the Causeway every day from David Duke's land (Mandeville/Northshore) in order to work in New Orleans. But they love these SEC fans, especially LSU fans when they come to New Orleans. The type of fans who love putting their Johnson's on another man's head in a restaurant trying to make him squeal like a pig like it was done in the movie "Deliverance". Maybe the Mayor should ban all schools not from New Orleans from playing games in New Orleans, which include non-local teams that play in the New Orleans Bowl, Sugar Bowl, and the College Football National Championship. Do the right thing Mayor and ban all these school that are not from New Orleans from playing games in New Orleans, since it costs the citizens living along the Northshore too much in taxes to fund the overtime for police and security, although no part of the Northshore is located in the City of New Orleans. Tulane, SUNO, UNO, Xavier, Dillard University, and Delgado should be the only colleges to play games in New Orleans. Now folks can see why an idiot like Piyush "Bobby" Jindal can get elected to two terms as Governor of Louisiana. When it comes to economics, these folks would cutoff their paychecks and starve themselves to death in order to satisfy their backwards way of thinking.

These are the same people who probably helped companies like Delta Airlines make the decision to relocate to Atlanta, GA just because they had started hiring Black pilots. It's time for the good people in Louisiana to push these backwards necks aside so that the state can progress. Now that JIndal will soon be out of office and Vitter won't be his replacement, these necks should go on ahead and join their pointy head buddy Bill Wilkinson in Belize.

Why is it that only white folks see all this shooting, killings and Muslims dancing in the streets from minorities in America? Yet they never see the white males shooting up work places, malls and schools? I guess the eyes and mind sees what it wants to see........
 
One thing that amazed me about the Bayou Classic, white folks knew how to disappear in New Orleans during the weekend of BC, especially in the French Quarter. I believe they disappeared more during the weekend of BC than the Essence Fest.

In one comment, someone said neither college has any ties to New Orleans. I guess that person doesn't know that SUNO stands for Southern University New Orleans. Now that the University of New Orleans (UNO) has transferred from the LSU System to the University of Louisiana System (UL System), Southern University has more ties to New Orleans than LSU. And with UNO now being in the UL System, Grambling has closer ties to UNO than LSU, since Grambling and UNO are both in the UL System. Somehow white folks logic doesn't add up when they are trying to conceal their true racist thoughts in mix up rhetoric. These are the same people Ole Piyush could count on when it came election time. Racist whites in Louisiana have always found some crazy Asian person to elect to carry out their racist deeds, such as the former sheriff of Jefferson Parish Harry Lee.

Ok SU and Gram...We have a Missouri like situation here.

What is wrong with keeping almost all those Bayou Classic dollars in the HBCU Market? You both have campuses. HBCU campuses are here for a reason.

What better way to show the White Conservatives of Louisiana than to build up our own campuses so they can surpass the likes of LSU, McNeese, etc.

Apparently you have never been on McNeese's campus before huh??? IMO, within the next 10 years, the university (LSUA) in my hometown will surpass McNeese. IMO, LSUA is in a better recruiting location in Louisiana than McNeese and as they add more programs, McNeese will join the likes of Nicholls State when it comes to attracting students in Louisiana. Also, LSUA is quietly adding sporting programs. They are in the process of building a rugby field which could easily be converted for football use and their basketball program is already playing at the D1 level. They have already defeated Northwestern State and Southeastern in basketball this year, which are two schools that are in the same conference with McNeese (Southland Conference). They actually stump the dog crap out of Southeastern in basketball.

Saturday’s shooting was at least the second of its kind this year on Bourbon Street, New Orleans’ most notorious hotspot for adult entertainment. On March 21, two men were shot, one fatally, not far away near the intersection of Bourbon and Conti streets.

On June 29, 2014, two men opened fire on each other in the 700 block of Bourbon about 2:45 a.m., wounding 10 revelers and tourists but not each other. A 21-year-old nursing student from Hammond later died. One man remains in jail in the shooting, awaiting trial; the second shooter remains unidentified.

The latest incident occurred as the French Quarter and especially Bourbon Street were crowded with fans in town for Saturday’s Bayou Classic football game. Police presence on the street was also high, with 25 New Orleans Police Department officers and 15 state troopers assigned to Bourbon’s 10 or fewer entertainment-oriented blocks. The NOPD’s mounted division supplied an additional 15 officers, assisted by eight Orleans Parish Sheriff’s Office deputies on horseback.
