Moss: I wanted to be a Falcon or a Raven

BC, see you're coming into the middle of something that's been going on for years between MH, beans, Suge, and myself. I have no problem with the Pigeons winning a conference championship, but when a Pigeon fan starts calling any franchise sorry, that's like the pot calling the kettle black.

I love the Saints, they're my hometown team, and I'll always have love for them, but the Redskins are my team, always have been that way, but in saying that though, I'll always defend the Saints.

If you're a fan of any team in the league, and you call the Saints sorry, I let it roll, because most teams have some history, but when it comes to the Pigeons, and the Cardinals, dude they're all in the same sorry arse boat.

That's like a Bengals fan before Marvin Lewis got there calling the Pigeons sorry, and they've actually been to two superbowls, but it doesn't change the fact that outside of a 6 year run in the 80's, they've been one of the sorriest franchises in football.

So be like Mighty Hornet, and harp on one great season out of the 40+ years the Pigeons have been playing, but make no mistake about it, when the conversation comes up about sorry arse NFL franchises, the Pigeons will be in that conversation right along with the Saints, Cardinals, and Bengals.

NICE

Thats just like a Cowboy's fan or a Redskins fan always talking about history.

The Deadskins are as close to another SuperBowl as the Falcons. You need to send a message to Dan Snyder that this is the NFL, not MLB. You can't BUY championships in this league, you have to earn 'em.

Keep focusing on 1992 or whenever it was that the deadskins last won a ring. That way you'll always have something to fall back on whenever somebody talks about how lame the deadskins are.

BTW, I'll be at the Flacons / 'Skins game in DC this season, so we'll get this going again soon.

Nice, why are you trying to demote us down to you all's level? We're re-writing history dude. They will never speak of us in the same conversation with those losers that you mentioned. We will be highly spoken of.

Dude you can't be serious, but then again, knowing you, you are. The only thing that puts you above the Cardinals at this point, is they've been in the league longer than the Pigeons. Rewriting history????? lol, try to have back to back winning seasons firt bruh, before you start talking about rewriting history.

...but weren't you the one a few post ago, telling me about the Pigeons being #2, and the Saints not even coming close???? I guess to speak in a language that you can understand, the Skins have finished twice more than the Pigeons, and have actually WON multiple superbowls, and NFL Championships before the superbowl was played.

So tell me again how many Lombardi Trophies are in Suwanee? Oh, and speaking of 1992, didn't the Redskins beat the Pigeons in those same playoffs on their way to WINNING another Lombardi Trophy? Just ax'in.

Hell, the Redskins just beat the Pigeons in Atlanta not to long ago, and with Patrick Ramsey at quarterback. lol I told you bruh, the Pigeons suck, and no matter how many times Michael Vick throws for 200 yards, and builds y'all hope up, the Pigeons franchise is still as sorry as the Saints, Cardinals, and Bengals, and the only reason the Buccaneers, and Jets are not in bottom of the barrell with the Pigeons, Saints, Cards, and Bungles, is because they've won a Superbowl.

NICE

I just saw an interesting stat. Price's best year in ATL was in 2003, when he caught 64 balls for 838 yards. That's the year Vick got hurt. Next year with Vick, he only caught 45 balls. Hmmm . . .

I'm just saying.

Now take a look at the records for those two years. That will show the impact of a Mike Vick.

Like I said, more history. Hell the last time the Deadskins won a SB, mark Rypien(sp) was the QB. The Deadskins have a rich history I'll give you that. but it's just that...HISTORY.

Please tell me what you've done lately. I haven't even looked at the stats but I'll bet over the past 5 years their record is the same or worse than the Falcons.

The deadskins start every year knowing they have two losses on the books (Dallas) before they play the first snap. How does that feel? At least we can beat every team in our division.

This is the NFL baby, so there's some rules you have to consider:

1.) Last years wins don't count (so you know Superbowls from 15 yrs ago don't)

2.) You can't buy championships.

Those are two rules deadskins fans break every year.

Again, it's cool to be number 2, when talking about the Saints, but when the Redskins history is bought into play, it's just history???? You can't have it both ways bruh, pick one.

In any case, the Redskins were in the playoffs this past season, and the Pigeons weren't, the last time they played the Pigeons, they beat the Pigeons, and tell me again how many superbowls past, or present that the Pigeons have either:

A) Won

or

B) Bought

awwww hell, I'll give you the answer it's

C) Neither (How does that feel?)

Oh, and not only did the Redskins make the playoffs last year, and the Pigeons didn't, they beat the Cowboys twice last year...again, it's amazing to me how you can compare histories when you're gauging the Pigeons against the Saints who you have a similiar history to, but when it's not even close against the Redskins, only this year counts, since last year's records don't?

Pick bruh, you can't have it both ways.

Peerless Price will probably catch 80 balls in Buffalo this season.

Hell, he caught six in the one game he started in Dallas.

BIGCAT,

Thanx for the reminder on where Price is. As for the ATL's record improvement with Vick, I give credit where it's due. He shole did rush the Falcons to victory. But let's not fool ourselves on his QB skills. The Falcons better start Matt Schaub before they get foolish and let another good one get away.

You OUGHT to be saying that Peerless Price aint worth a schit.
If he had 64 catches that year, he probably had 164 drops!! :smh:

glad the FALCONS dumped his overrated and overPRICEd arse

I wonder where Price went after we dropped him like he dropped those passes?

The Falcons are investing too much into Vick. He aint worth it, he is ALWAYS hurt, an the dude is overrated. But if yall like a punt returner throwing the ball, GR loves it. But let be for real though, he can really throw the ball hard cant he.

BTW....Crumpler has the most catches on the team cause he is the closet rec. to Vick. Thats the only guy he can hit.

Stop lying... Vick couldn't get 164 passes within the vicinity of a receiver in one season...lol

obviously you didn't see many FALCONS games.

Thumbs Price was dropping more than he was catching.

Hell, by the time the FALCONS cut his arse, he was damn near 5th string

Now THAT would have been drama.
Naw, you're going to see drama this fall between Bledsore, TO, Big Fish, and Jerry. That sounds like some casts on a daytime soap opera show.

Don't forget that Schaub has been in this system he was in college. Mike just started it 2 yrs ago. So Schaub is going to be more efficient. However, In 2 starts Schaub is 0-2.

When the team is down and needs somebody to make a play, Vick is the guy who can make it. I've seen dude in Pittsburgh convert a 3rd and 18. They Falcons were got called for illegal motion on the play and got backed up 5 yds. Vick then turned around and converted a 3rd and 23. Yeah he ran the ball but so what. Al that counts is moving the sticks.

Don't fall in love too much with the drop back passer. Vick can move the chains and I'll take that any day over the Statue of Liberty ya'll have in Dallas.

That wasn't me that said said the Saints were number 2 so I won't respond to that.

But on the Deadskins, I only brought up history to appease you. Since your memory only starts prior to 1992.
In the past 5 yrs the Falcons have been in the divisional championship and the NFC champ. The deadskins haven't been in the playoffs but once and couldn't get out of the first round. So you go drag Joe Gibbs out of his lounge chair and tell him to save you. Good luck with that.

You have two midget receivers and only one of them is fast (Moss) and your third receiver has great hands but is slow and can't run a route. Portis better man up this season cause it's gonna be a long one for him.

BTW, congrats on finally beating the Cowboys. I'm sure the fact that it won't happen again doesn't bother you though since you have a selective memory.

What would a Saints fan know about number 2? They've never gotten that close.

Nah, you didn't say it my bad, but your comments lead me to believe you were at least happy being number 2.

What in the hell does going to the playoffs twice mean, when you've never won a superbowl? Teams are remembered for how many superbowls they win, not how many times they've gone to the playoffs.

I said earlier the Redskins have won mutiple superbowls, meaning my knowledge of them goes back further than 1992, it's you my friend who seems to think the Skins started playing in 92, and it's you who thinks the NFL just started football in the new millinium, even though the Pigeons are still doing the same things they've ALWAYS done.

Have a good season, followed by a losing season, have a decent season, followed by another losing season, suck even worse than the year before, suck even worse the following year, have a decent season, then have another losing season.

You see a pattern there, and none of them involve you winning a superbowl, or hell even having to back to back winning seasons. Be a consistent playoff team, before you start spouting off about being a winner.

Oh, and let's be honest, if the Pigeons would've won a superbowl 30 years ago, you would count that, so stick to talking about playoff memories that don't involve winning the big game, and I'll stick to talking about 1983, 1988, and 1992.
