Bama State sholl getting a lot of love up in here. They played like hot azz garbage, but "we" don't care THIS YEAR. They got drug up and down the court by a sorry azz team that couldn't beat Grambling. Same Gram that couldn't qualify for the SWAC tourney. But it don't matter. They the best. Nobody has a right to criticize that pathetic ass effort last night.

Go pull up that thread about the JSU-Florida game a few years ago. JSU go clowned royally, because the defending national champs played like the defending national champs and blew us out. Yet, last night our best team lay a straight egg against the absolute worse team to enter the tourney since who knows when, we wanna accept it. JSU, PV and PB woulda beat Moorehead (yeah, keep saying but they weren't good enough to make it).

And yet, ya'll lost to this same Bama State team. Does that make it sting (pun intended) even more about what JSU could've done? LOL!!

Did you skate through this thread? After all that were still your SWAC Champs and this conference hasn't done a thing in basketball since 1993.....maybe thats what you should of told "them" when you lost to FL.......:lol:

Like hell I can't. I wasn't comparing the games. There was no, JSU was the best team, so you can't say nothing now. There was no, JSU beat your team so shut up talk. ToPdOg wasn't in here telling everybody else they didn't beat JSU, so keep a lid on it.
JSU lost by damn near 70 points to Florida, and still put forth a better effort than Bama State did last night.

But I wasn't in here talking about what SU could've done either. That's the difference.
They scored more than 29 but they weren't playing a #1 seed(UCLA). If this is the best team in the SWAC, then the whole conference is nothing but crap.

We <b>deserve</b> to stay in the play-in game, if not be uninvited to the NCAA tourney. :| The showing as of late has been pitifully pathetic. Case in point, I wonder how many SWAC school's mens players saw that last night and laughed about it? I wonder how many SWAC school's mens players saw that display and would continue today w/ their "bling-bling" lol about their neck and their pants saggin' below their ass acting all "cool?" :retard: I wonder how many SWAC school's mens players saw that putrid display and got angered about it? I wonder how many SWAC school's players saw that last night and rose EARLY this a.m. hour to start lifting weights? Hitting their books to STAY elgible for the upcoming season? Doing whatever it takes to <b>dedicate</b> themselves to seek revenge, silence the naysayers, get better, improve, et al? I'm local for the next few weeks and this is PV's spring break week. :| I've already <b>spoken face to face</b> w/ 2 of PV's football players and saw them in the local Gold's gym <b>voluntarily</b> lifting. I gave them a 30 minute talk on dedication and heart coupled w/ brain power. :| I'll catch up to a few on the mens team next week when school resumes. :read: If you're a true competitor you'll understand my angle. :|
Just like <b>a majority</b> of SWAC alums, the SWAC now has <b>ZERO</b> heart because HEARTLESS kids/alums attend(ed), as a whole. I see bright spots here and there but from top to bottom, straight up g-a-r-b-a-g-e and I certainly hate being associated w/ losers. :wavey:
