Mississippi Valley State at Grambling: Game Updates - 2:00pm CT

Jag-Br if we continue to improve and keep our momentum then whoever is next on the schedule(A&M) won't matter.

Good deal. Good luck to JSU. I know a lady in Houston said a lot of rooms are going fast as well. Hell, where we stayed is right across from Reliant so we are booking it again. Don't have to drive or nothing.

So after next week Grambling gets three weeks off before the Bayou Classic? Hmm. :read:

We have a bye week before the BC and play Clark before. So it ain't no advantage. They ain't going to get any new players in that time. This is the same Gram team. Didn't UAPB get their first win against Valley last week? Uh-oh PV. ~snicker~

bayou classic anything can happen no matter how good or bad the teams are! history proves that. But isnt SU record the same as GSU's was in 2011 about this time in the season i dont remember?

Normally it has been SU who has beaten a better record Gram team. History has shown when it is a bad GSU team that SU has won being the favorite.

Great win Gmen way to show up for your homecoming y'all look better than jacks state did at theirs

Maybe but he doesn't have a legit team. And wasn't he on staff when the team quit this year?

And they originally offered him the interim coach but he turned them down even though he was applying for the job. That's how they ended up with Ragsdale. It was a thread on that when Doug got fired. Winston must have known he had some suspect players and thought his chances to get the head job would diminish if he took over on an interim basis. You would think he would have jumped at the chance to so he could distance himself from other candidates. If the players had not quit, Da Mayor would still be coaching. Not sure Gram should trust Winston.
