Mike Gundy to LSU?

Gundy can recruit really good players on offense, especially QBs. Mason Rudolph, his current QB, is more than likely going to be one of the top QBs taken in draft this year. And we know how much LSU struggles on offense and at the QB position. Gundy can develop guys at that position.

That's been the difference between Alabama and LSU over the years.

They play in the Big 12. Not impressed. He better off staying there. Saban would kick his ass. Seriously. Heck Hugh Freeze is just as good of a coach as he is. And I hate Ole Piss.

OSU having the success under Gundy in the Big 12 with the likes of OU and Texas, TCU and Baylor being around (whose coaches are paid more than Gundy) is all the more impressive.

But the conference plays no defense. I need to see him do this against defenses. OU has been up and down. We have seen Texas these last few years even before Mack got ran. Baylor always fizzes out even with Briles at the helm. What defensive team have they destroyed Bowl time? You going to the SEC. You got to play defense there. LSU would be better off with Orgeron staying there than Gundy. Now Patterson at TCU used to have a good defense and his offense was balanced. He may be a better fit at LSU than Gundy. Patterson is an underrated Coach.

The only teams that play defense in the SEC are Bama, LSU and Florida. And Michigan kicked the crap out of UF in a bowl game last year. Two years ago, TCU ran Ole Miss off the field.

But West Virginia and Kansas State -- which allow a combined 22 points per game -- gave up 37 and 43 to OSU this season. The most points anybody scored on them all year.
