I think McNeese pulled the okie doke  . A reliable source told me that they purchased tickets(single game)in Lake Charles, last week for the Southern game. Smart move. I guess they didn't want to get out numbered by Jag fans.

McNeese attendance averages 93% of the total of it's stadium capacity.

We will have 5000 extra ticket available on the hills in each endzone and tickets go on sale to EVERYONE on Monday. And SU alumni in LC are already planning to be lined up on Monday to buy tickets in LC.

So what is the problem?

Did you want us to screw our own fans by offering thier tickets to the other team?

If they did it, it was under the table. Ticket office does not open for single game seats until Monday at 8:AM

If any of you Jags are serious about tickets. You better be online early Monday morning to get those tickets. Gram had the same problem when we played them in Lake Charles.

Yeah, we aren't Nicholls or Northwestern St. We actually have our own fans who come to the game and fill up a good part of the stadium by ourselves every game.

Of course, if you are quick you can beat some of those lazy ass McNeese fans who always wait to gameday to buy tickets.

Those are on the hills in the EZ, Not really standing as you can sit on the grassy hills.

5000 of those tickets will be sold.

Do you guys guys actually believe that is right though, not allocating a lot of tickets to the visiting teams? I am sure visiting teams want to show their support as well as the home team.

I can't really argue with it, they're giving us the same amount of tickets as we alloted them last year. Yes visiting teams want to support their team too, but the point of having home field advantage is to get as many of your own fans in the game as possible. However, tickets go on sale in the morning via Ticketmaster, so SU fans will have an equal opportunity to puchase tickets.

The yrs. I attended lsu@lc (96-00) games, their stadium was usually packed and they had a following. Their biggest game would be agnst. northwestern. 1 thing, normally the teams lsu@lc played didn't have a large following. Therefore, they could send 1000 tickets and still have some sent back.

This game may be a sellout by Monday nite. We may have to travel to lake charles monday morn to stand in line and get tickets.

Why should they give the visiting team a ton of tickets? It is their home game. They are giving up more than 10% of the stadium capacity for the visiting team. That's more than enough if you asked me.

I just found out we send 2000 tickets to SU now.

That IS a lot of tickets given our home crowd support and stadium capacity.

SU fans think they should be first to get our fans tickets. Now how could we face our fans if we gave all their tickets away?

SU fans will will have the SAME shot at buying the remaining 11,000 seats availabe by going to stand in line at the McNeese Ticket office (like most SU alumni in LC will do), or by buying them via ticketmaster.

I understand what you are saying about the home field advantage aspect. Since McNeese is only alloting the same amount of tickets that SU alloted to McNeese, then there should not be an issue except being online early to purchase tickets.

1st, It's MCNEESE.

2nd. You are correct in the fact, we normally get tickets back from our SLC foes and to think that we have send 2,000 tickets as of Friday to SU, you guys need to realize that this is TWICE as many as we have EVER had to send anyone else before. This game will be a sell out by the end of the day on Monday.

SU fans that want tickets, can either stand in line at the MSU ticket office or buy them on line via ticket master like many McNeese fans will do.

Tickets are $16 plus a $4 ticketmaster fee so what's $20 for someone wanting to support their team?
