McNabb - Black on Black Crime?


Doug nevr spoke about n other players money either like mcnabb either. I'll take DOUG WILLIAMS in the biggest game of his life anyday over McNanny. I too am tired of mcnabb nuttin up in big games. IF IT AINT THERE TUCK THA MUTHAFUGGA AND RUN AND GET WHAT YOU CAN DUMBAZZ!!!!! Stop listening to these White pundits tryign to pass like montana. NEWSFLASH NUMNUTTS: Donovan you are not montana. Be who you are and get the job done. If that means you have to die on that field lace up yo boots and lead yoru team

those "code phrases" are what they say about ANY black QB...now i'm not coming in defense of McNabb, but he and every other black QB's gotten that treatment.

they say it about Mike Vick and I'm sure they'll say it about Vince Young..

even Steve McNair was "brought along slowly" by the Oilers/Titans.
 



I think what GR is tryign to say is why is that with our black qbs coming into the league. Why does the system have to be simplified. Are our black qbs smart enough to know the playbook like other journeyman white qb's in the league.

What is a trip is the number of black backup qb's in the league right now. I can only think of jacksonville who has two black backups qb's. There may be others but it is not a whole lot. I always wondered why we can't have black journeymen qb's who just hold a clipboard for 5yrs and get paid millions. It's either being a star or not go far for our black qb's nowadays!!!!

Randall Cunningham had the WORST coach to play for when it came to offense?Buddy Ryan...I'm surprised Randall lasted as long as he did fuggin 'round with Buddy Ryan...

Steve McNair HAS HEART!!!!....hands down...He's love for contact has shortened his career some, but didn't diminish it one bit.

It's unfortuante that we never really got to see how good Shack Harris (racism) and Joe Gillam (drug usage/racism) could have been if they had a real shot at running an offense.

I agree with you and Gee Arrah for the most part. I can't put my finger on why they say they have to simplify the system or something. Now what about Chris Leak at Florida. What will the NFL say when he comes out?

They'll drool when they see the athleticism and playmaking ability, saying that this is the new trend in football. But it's a whole different song and dance when these dudes get into the NFL.
 
Doug led a sorry azz tampa bay team to the playoffs and he was ready to lead the team but the mckay owner was stupid as did not wnat ot pay doug for his services. Contrary to what some folks believe Doug was already a s very good pro quarterback and he needed to prove it and he did in tampa. Jay sheoeder was garbage and he did not doug to get that job but doug was better and the team played harder for him. Way before doug won th esuper bowl he was already a very good qb.

Steve mcnair fail victim to the pundits trap in trying to stay in the pocket and take hits instead of taking what the defense gave him to run withhis legs. I saw highlights of steve at alcorn and went he to th nfl that speed dissapeared and that wantign to make the play happen with his legs went away. His heart is unquestion but can yo say Earl campbell when Mcnair retires.

Vick has th eworse offense in the world to fits his talent. The west coast does not fit him. Put him in the run and shoot and let him fling it and let dunn get theirs when they can cause all this running and no passin attack aint gettin nothing done.

McNanny is a disgrace!!!! He waits til super bowl week to rehash this mess.

I'll take culpepper anyday or vick. A qb i know will give it up adn have his team respect.

Jay Shroeder was pure trash..but don't act like Doug was the sole reason Tampa went far under the Culverhouse administration...Lee Roy Selmon, Ricky Bell (RIP) and others were key factors...(Note Malcolm Glazer, who also owns controlling interest of Machester United, was not the owner at the time nor McKay was the GM)

Now I agree that the offense Vick is in limits his full potential. The Falcons also fugged up when they drafted Duckett ahead of Ashley Lelie. Big back come a dime a dozen in the NFL..but Lelie+Warrick Dunn+Mike Vick=gangbusters...

Now you know the jury is out on Culpepper because the critics say the presence of Randy Moss made him look good

Culpepper is still a very good qb. I hated when green got fired cause tice stunk.

It does not matter who th efalcons drafted at wr cause that offense is not pas friendly right now. They rely too much on the run and when teams challeng vick by bringing up run support the flacons offense has no anser. Vick has the gun but lacks the proper offense. That crap of an offense stinks!!!!!!!

Doug was still a very good qb before the super bowl. He jsut needed a chance. Mcnanny (sorry DR. FREEZE) had his chance and got drafted high he stinks. I am sick of seeign these pundits on tv trying to save face for this no heart having, company man, boss loving, company srcotum washing and staring azz in th estands in the super bowl.

Hugh doughlas may not like T.O. but he adn those other teamates respect him cause of that one game and giving his soul and almost seacrificng his CAREER for one game and while donavann was overthrowing T.O. in that game and T.O. had to make unreal catches those teamates saw that and that is i think th etema is so split casue they see T.O. as the "DIE FOR THIS GAME PLAYER " and they see McNanny as the " I CAN ONLY DO SO MUCH" player!!!!

I don not hate Mcnanny in any shape or form and i repsect for being a black qb but Mcnanny has to get his shat together!!!!!
