I see the SWAC has several games on MBC. Does anyone know how to catch this network? I have yet to find it on cable or satellite.

I saw the SC ST. vs Benedict game last week on MBC but I was in Memphis . They do a better job then BET. They don't carry it in Bama. I think you have to check with your cable coompany.

Jag Voice,

To quote pimp of the jungle Jim Rome, You have to "bang the monkey" of your local cable company to get MBC Network. Cox Cable here in BR carries MBC as a part of the Digital Cable Package.

MBC network is channel 61/tv23 Jackson State University's Television station and oh, yes it is a powerful station, in the Jackson, MS area. They have been broadcasting all of the siac, ciaa and meac basketball from last season. They broadcasted alot of meac football last season and they are broadcasting JSU/SU/Alabama State/AAMU/Grambling from the swac this year. They show almost all of the halftime shows, much better than BET and there isn't alot of commercials.

AAMU campus gets it too!!!

Im am so glad my apartment complex Normal Hills has the MBC network in the cable package......I for one really looking at the HBCU games from the comfort of my crib! bout 2 weeks ago I was able to catch the PVU vs. TxSU game and the coverage of the game was pretty good and they also showed both hafltimes:D

Jag Voice, you could go to the SRO Sports Bar in Houston and they can pick it up. To let you know up front, depending on what other games are scheduled at the same time or the number of people that want to watch the game of the week on MBC, they may not be able to put it on a big screen. I recomend you try the one in Northwest Mall. They maybe able to put it on a mini TV. If you drop me a PM or make a post, I might meet you at SRO for some SWAC action, depending on who's playing and what TSU is doing. I've watched the SCG live at the SRO in the past, when it was shown on BET taped delayed.

Granted they live in brusly but it all suppose to be the same now right?

Man, I don't know. I have digital cable, however, if you have a satellite connection where you can adjust which satellite you will receive programing from you want to rotate the dish to Galaxy 4R. I think each dish is pre-programmed for the various orbits of the many satellites.

He is talking about a big satellite dish (c-band or k-band), not directv or dishnetwork...
