Due to the fact that JR, put out an APB for MightyDog, I am compel to communicate with the board in my official capacity as the Editor-In-Chief. This has been a very difficult weekend for me because I had to leave B'ham to attend a meeting in Atlanta. I do work when my employer catch up with me. So I could not post because I was actually working. So I will be off until March 18, 2002. In addition, I will be off the board until Monday because I am upgrading my system to place computers in every room so that I can respond to you like an AK47.
As for as the Dawgs, we made a signficant impact on the SWAC this season. We took everyone to a new level and hope teams like SU, JSU, GSU, ASU and TSU can capitalize on their wins over AAMU this season. Use the exposure to assist you in recruiting so that you can increase your fan base and play competative basketball.
Please note that no SWAC team swept us this season and we only had two seniors. AAMU did great in the tournament, but the excitement of being in the tournament caused some of our players to become overly excited about going to the big dance. They knew it could be done, but in the end they started to rush their shots and missed the easy ones. AlSt did a great job in rebounding where we are weak on the defensive boards. All our inside people are young and should be ready to play.
We saluate you for giving us a chance to assist you with improving your basketball programs. We are extremely sadden if we caused your coach to be fired. But make sure you hire someone who can give us a good game in the future.
The new big three is alive and well and the former big three need to regroup because of your poor showing this season. If the former big three does not show some improvement in football we may asked that you be placed on probation.
A special note to the once proud JSU Mafia, you will have to come thru two bama teams to win another championship. It will not happened any time soon.
