I had read where after earning millions, she only has $2,000 to her name. She has associated with a lot of bad people and the doping scandal really did her in.

That's what they were saying after the court hearings wrapped up.
They took that multi-million dollar home she built whit everything in it a long time ago.
Even worse, she still has legal debt's up into the 6 or 7 figure range. :shame:

She either a bad businesswoman or very gulliable to let mofo's rip her like this.
 
I hate to see these types of things happen, but you know what they say, what goes around comes around. When she was just a skinny, crooked tooth, barely enough hair to have a Jheri Curl, big CJ took her on, when he was the man, and standing at the top of the field world, of Track & Field, when nobody wanted her.

The second she got paid, and the started receiving all kinds of attention, and even being called a sex symbol, she dumped CJ at the drop of a dime, "supposedly" because he was on steroids. Then she hooked up with Time Montgomery, who was more popular, and better looking than CJ, and then we find out that he was on the juice too, along with speculation that she was as well.

From everything that I've read, she got rid of everybody that genuinely cared about her, for the "in crowd". Now that she's broke, hopefully the "in crowd" will come to her rescue, or she can revive her track career, or even give the WNBA a try, because she was a pretty decent basketball player at UNC. If not, she'll be punching a clock 9 to 5 like the rest of us, I just hope she got her degree from UNC, because if nothing else, she can become a gym teacher, and a track coach.

Even though he admitted he did it, I forgot how fast she threw CJ under the train down in Australia. :(

I'l be damned if that same rope that pulls you up will help to hang dat azz. I wish her no ill and I sincerely hope that she can recover from this.

Black People we must learn some business acumen and know how to manage money and stop depending on someone else to manage our money for us.

....As for me , .20 cents of every dollar I earn.....is mine to keep for saving and investing only. (every month/every year)

Yeah man, that was messed up. She didn't even have enough class to stick it through with CJ at least until they got back. I still remember how hurt he was when she dumped him.

I hope things work out for her... Contrary to others on this thread, I was and still am a fan of her athletic ability... I statted the ACC tourney when she was a freshman at UNC, the year they won it all...

I thought she did what she had to do at the time... I am not mad that she "threw" CJ under the bus, hell he had it coming....

Who gives a rat's azz whether or not he was hurt... Men should not have feelings about other men's feelings.... That is borderline gay.... And let me preface this by saying, I AM NOT CALLING ANYONE ON HERE GAY!!!

Plenty of people worse than her are still living the good life. If she's broke, it's because she didn't make good decisions with her money. Period. None of us know what really happened within her relationships and who was at fault. Except what we might've read in the media.

I don't have anything against her personally, and I too was a fan of her athletic ability, and where did anybody wish anything bad on her? I felt what she did to CJ was wrong, and call it bordeline gay if you want to, but I'd feel the same way if something like that happened to you. So I guess I'm just borderline then.

All I'm saying is what goes around comes around, she left dude because he was on steroids, and had a baby for the better dude who guess what???? Had his world record stripped because he was on steroids, and now her career is stained for the same thing (even though they didn't find anything).

You do people wrong.........I guess she had it coming.

Well, she'd better hit the European circuit hard the next few years to earn some money (assuming she can still perform at a high enough level). Sad.
 
who cares, welcome to my world. She needs to try to coach at one of those big schools and make about 75k a year. Its not going to be the same lifestyle that she's used, but that would do. Or go on a reality show like Flavooooooooooooooooor Flave.
