I knew they were reliable but, damn.

I wonder if I can get my 92' Camry to a million miles? I doubt it....but here's 800,000 more miles...

He really got his money worth considering the average engine is only good up to 300K. The key is changing that oil on time, and not running your engine hard. Also break that engine in early on the highway, instead of all that inner city stop and go traffic.

:read: :read:

I have 230 sum odd thousand on a '96 ram. I've had to do some "stuff" about that bad boy but the engine is solid - no leaks, no oil usage, etc. I'd say over 80% of the miles on it are straight hwy miles of 240+ miles one way. I luv that guy, moreso that one that those other newer ones. I'm going to try my best to get that guy to @ least 500,000. I like that body style as its very unique for crisler (chrysler). 5.9L (old 360 block), can't go wrong w/ it, IMO. I'd like crisler to give an authentic superbird instead of that funky clone I was tryna' piece together before I sold it. lol

I remember as kid going with my paw paw on rides to "open up his engine"(Lake Charles to Beaumont & back), 1977 Buick electra 225 he drove it up to around 300k miles before he got another car.

I learned from the best when it comes to car upkeep. My wife told me that I treat my Tahoe better than I treat her...

honda accords, model years 1990-1993 were the best built Accords ever! You will not get a million miles on Accord built after 1993.

Didn't know.
Yeah every once in a while you gotta open them valves up. Stop and go traffic at red lights is very hard on a engine. The valves need to constantly pump sometime to get that slush of oil that builds up around them moving. You drive fast anyway on 75, 85 and 20, so your engine good.

And the thing is the car still looks good. Those hondas are still popular and I used to have one (green) and they are very dependable on gas--a PURE CLASSIC !
