Point guard Bo Spencer is transferring to Nebraska after having been declared academically ineligible at LSU.

Spencer would have been LSU's top returning scorer this season, with 14.5 points a game, but coach Trent Johnson announced in May that Spencer would be ineligible.

Why Nebraska? Kid should have gone to Grambling and play in that nice facilty and be a part of something that's about to be unleashed on the conference and State... But that can wait!

He went there because that team is moving from the Big 12 to the Big 10, who has thier own network and plenty of chances for exposure. He takes this year off and will get to play is the first season of Big 10 basketball for that team.

we can't accept kids on academic probation...the average kid can't get in at Nebraska but they waive the rights for a basketball player :smh"
