Lakers: Worst Supporting Cast In Playoffs?!

The lakers had an excellent draft last year (Bynum and Farmer). Both of them were picks for the future which are devloping ahead of time.

Keep in mind that up til mid season, the lakers were battling for the 4th spt in the West until the injury problems kicked in. Walton got hurt, Odem was hurt, Kwame got hurt as well as Vlade.
But ain't that the same supporting cast y'all (Laker fans) are bashing????

Yep. That's why I would call Phoenix. They have more to offer. Plus it would send KG to a contender. You got to remember even if they trade KG. The team that gets him has to be able to sign him as well. Because his contract with that opt out clause goes with him. So say the Wolves trade him to NY. And KG is like fugg that and plays for the one season with NY and opts out. That is why it is going to be hard to move him. The sad teams can't afford to take that risk on taking him. The reason KG aint moaning and groaning is because he is sitting pretty. He knows he will be playing where he wants one way or another. The Wolves should have moved him before last season. Right now they have little to no choice in the matter.
McHale's lack of foresight has the Wolves painted into a corner. They won't get FULL value for KG because they MUST move him or get nothing. We screwed....

I keep trying to tell Laker and Kobe fans that. Now Garnett can opt out of his contract after next season. Which he will leave 1 year on the table at over 20 million here in Minnesota. So he would have to take a pay cut to go play in most places as free agent. But who is to say he will go the Lakers? If he opts out then he can go anywhere he wants. What if he decides he want to go play with Shaq and D-Wade. Could you imagine that? It would be better him just playing with Kobe. Or what if KG wants to go back Chicago where he finished his HS career and play with the baby Bulls who are up and coming? If I am Minnesota, I call Phoenix up with them 3 damn 1st round picks and ship KG there for them and one of their players like a Shawn Marion or somebody. Otherwise I do not think KG will be traded to another West team, because nobody has anything the Timberwolves can use. Especially the Lakers. Phoenix is attractive due to the players they have along with all them first round picks. I see KG sticking around and then opting out next year and heading somewhere better than what the Lakers have currently. Heck KG would be better off in Cleveland with LeBron than with Kobe. LOL.

So YOU FINALLY ADMIT THAT PHOENIX HAS ALL THEM PLAYERS AND THE LAKERS HAVE NO ONE TO OFFER??!! Who was that who said talent don't matter??
YOU FINALLY ADMITTED THE TRUTH, EVEN THOUGH YOU DIDN'T MEAN TO.:what: :what:

And they are still playing hurt.

SOG, these guys who continue to be dishonest about Kobe's lack of support are some of the same ones who say that talent doesn't matter.

It is unbelievable what Kobe's done with this team. He's practically dragging the team along, whether they want to go with him or not.
The Clippers, with all that talent, didn't even make the playoffs. Golden State, with all that talent, barely made the playoffs.

Kobe's double teamed every night; he's counted on to hit the clutch shot; he's counted on to guard the leading scorer on most nights; he's counted on to bring his A game night in and night out; he's counted on to be the team leader; he's counted on to score 30 plus points every night; he's counted on having to play 40 plus minutes every game; he doesn't complain about his lack of support; he has to bring the ball up the court against immense pressure and much more.

What MORE do these people have to witness before they finally give this man his just do?

History is history. He learned his lesson from his allegedly ratting on Shaq as he matured, but some people just won't let it go, as if they've never made mistakes in their young lives. To hades with 'em. KOBE IS KING!!

And for some to have the audacity to blame Kobe for Shaq being traded?

Shaq did that to himself when he MOCKED Lakers owner Jerry Buss by PUBLICLY saying over and over "pay me the money". You don't do that to the owner IN PUBLIC and expect to be on his good side.

THAT'S WHAT STARTED THE TRADE MESS!! HOW SOON SOME FORGET.

Before Shaq was traded, Buss stated that O'Neal was offered around $45 million for two more years, meaning he would have been under contract for over $100 million over three to four seasons had he accepted the offer.

The bottom line is, don't bite the hand that's feeding you, no matter how big you are cause you just might lose all your teeth.
Shaq learned this lesson the hard way.

No more movies and not many Shaq commercials in Miami is there?

But Shaq got that ring, and Kobe had to buy a $4 million-dollar ring to keep his wife from leaving him.

4 million dollars?!! That's all! Besides, it's still in the family.
And who's laughing all the way to the bank due to commercials, jersey sales and all other sorts of deals in LA-LA Land?
It sho ain't Shaq.:emlaugh:

Kobe has THREE rings. Most NBA players don't have ONE, so your point is moot.
While Kobe's makin' dem dollaz, Shaq is askin, where dem dollaz at?:swink:

Shaq won a ring without Kobe, which makes four to Kobe's three. I don't see Kobe getting a fourth anytime soon unless he buys one of Phil's rings.

Let's see, hmmmm, Kobe has at least eight more years in the league and Shaq has how many...one, two or three at the most?

Kobe's in his PRIME, Shaq's in DECLINE.
Don't get it twisted.

I don't think Kobe will win another ring in those eight years unless the Lakers fiind complementary pieces, or he signs with another team.

So now you're finally admitting that Kobe doesn't have the weapons he needs to compete for a championship?
Thanks for finally coming around, just like JR finally has.
If Kobe had half the talent as does dirk or nash, the Lakers would win the West.
Simply proves that he's the best player in the NBA, for him to do as well with what he has.

Usually the best player in the NBA does not lead his team to the 7th seed. You would think with a guy like Kobe on the team other guys would get better, or at least be in the position to be better. But when you don't trust your teammates, it is hard to win in the NBA. I don't care how good you are.
