Lakers: Worst Supporting Cast In Playoffs?!

I think it is less of a matter of supporting cast, and more of a matter of who is the better leader.
Kome is not a leader, and therein lies the problem. I know one of you riders are going to say, look at
how good Jordan's supporting cast was. But what you may not remember or recall, is that the same supporting
cast that Jordan had, was garbage at one time. Over the years, Jordan had to grow to trust them and lead them.
Once they got past that hurdle, the greatness of that dynasty was born.

As for as the Lakers' supporting cast, they did not look too bad to me today. However, there were some
possessions of the game where Kome should have passed instead of taking a bad shot or shots against double teams.

Who cares who has the weakest supporting cast? Strap up your jocks and play with what you have and quit all of the whining!

Whining?! If you had a 22 pistol and I had an uzi, and I challenge you to a duel and tell you to quit whining about what I have and versus what you have, what would you say?

Think before you type some stuff that don't make no sense at all.
There's no substitute for talent, plain and simple. The more talent the better.

And how do you know Kobe asked for what he has? Is he the general manager? No. Is he the owner? No.
Jason Kidd very much wanted to play with Kobe, but stupid kupchak couldn't close the deal.

Place the blame where it's supposed to be, on piss poor management.

Man, no matter what Kobe does, people will criticize. If he passes the ball and his teammates miss wide open shots, it's his fault. If he shoots the ball and has an off game, it's still his fault.
How can you trust players when they continue to let you down time after time?

Nash has five players to back him up. Dirk has four, Wade has three, billups has four, duncan has three, carter has kidd and jefferson, carmello has iverson, mcgrady has ming, hell, Baron Davis of Golden State has a better supporting cast (ellis, jackson and richardson), than Kobe does.

How can some of you ignore this with a straight face?:smh:

Jayrob, I don't think you want to spin this to a personal attack. However, for the record, if I had a 22 and you had an uzi, I would still take you out and the reason is simple.
Most folks who like to spray with uzis are too damned chicken hearted, scared and have the aim of a two year old; Thus they spray; Some folks call them cowards.
I on the other had would not waste a shot. I am more of the accurate type, however, in light of a recent national tragedy, I digress.

What personal attack? I think you're the one spinning for even suggesting that I was hinting at some sort of gun violence.
And I don't appreciate you making the statement that you'd "take me out". I could easily construe that as a threat on my life, if you know what I mean.
A comparison of what other teams have versus what the Lakers have is akin to a person having an uzi verses someone with a 22 pistol. A third grader could've understood that.

It sounded like you were challenging me to a duel with me holding a 22 and you holding an uzi.

Now, your new post, making the lakers cast "akin" to dueling 22's and uzi's is a little better understood,
even though I am barely past 3rd grade as the possessor of 2 degrees, but again, I digress.

When did Kobe not ever want to pass the ball?
It's quite obvious that he's passed and is passing it to somebody, being that he has a career average of five assists per game which is only ONE assist behind Jordan's career average, thank you.

Besides, unlike nash, Kobe plays small forward/shooting guard, NOT point guard.
Point guards are supposed to PASS and get others involved. Shooting guards and small forwards are SUPPOSED TO SHOOT the ball first and foremost, then pass.

Clearly my post was past tense meaning that you can't monopolize the ball, causing all your help to leave, decide to now want to pass the ball, and then complain there is no one to pass the ball to.

Cause and effect...

Stag, it's like this. Atlanta is the place where guys come to get their careers jump started or begin their start to stardom.

Lakers is the place where they go to end their careers. Much like a grave-yard for useless talent.

I can see now when a player gets banished or exile to the Lakers, they will know that it's over.

But the bottom line is until KOBE realize that in this day and age, it take's more than 1 player to accomplish anything, the LAKERS will continue to slide.

People can say what they want, but the reason TOP LINE PLAYERS are NOT comming to the LAKERS is KOBE................It ain't salary ristrictions.
They know as soon as they get there, instead of raising their game and the others around them, they will have to wait until KOBE establishes himself as "The MAN" in every game.

The Lakers were winning championships and this guy was complaining to Phil Jackson that the triangle offense was holding his PERSONAL GAME back.

Damm the fact that they had bout 6 or 7 players averaging double figures at the time.:what:
