I think it is less of a matter of supporting cast, and more of a matter of who is the better leader.
Kome is not a leader, and therein lies the problem. I know one of you riders are going to say, look at
how good Jordan's supporting cast was. But what you may not remember or recall, is that the same supporting
cast that Jordan had, was garbage at one time. Over the years, Jordan had to grow to trust them and lead them.
Once they got past that hurdle, the greatness of that dynasty was born.
As for as the Lakers' supporting cast, they did not look too bad to me today. However, there were some
possessions of the game where Kome should have passed instead of taking a bad shot or shots against double teams.
Who cares who has the weakest supporting cast? Strap up your jocks and play with what you have and quit all of the whining!
