When one looks at all of the teams in the playoffs, it's quite obvious that Kobe Bryant has by far, the worst supporting cast in the NBA, yet they've made the playoffs for the past two seasons.

Phoenix and Dallas seem to have the best West, while Miami and Detroit seem to have the upper hand in the East.

The so called experts are so reluctant to admit this when it comes to Kobe Bryant and the Lakers.:shame: :shame:

If it's an excuse, YOU tell me who has a worse supporting cast.
I've been saying this all along, but so many (hint, hint), are flat out in denial.

the Lakers do. Some players are always on and off, for example Smush, LaMar and Luke. You can't have that when it's playoff time.

This is a very funny thread. I was hoping you would atleast wait until after the got swept.

Who said that the Lakers will get swept? I didn't and I don't think they will.
When you look at the man for man weaponry on each team, you'd think the Lakers would get swept, but you forget one weapon the Lakers still have.....KING KOBE!!!!!

The Lakers need to get physical with phoenix and not give up easy layups and wide open shots.

With KING KOBE, and a little help from Walton, Odom and Kwame, who knows what will happen?

After me getting cussed out for 3 years saying this, no people wanna stop and admit the truth.:smh:

OH well..................... Gonna find out how bad they are for real.:(
They play the Sun's in a back to back to back to back series.:(

If you are relying on those guys for help, then the series will be over quickly.

smush parker has got to be the worst player in the league, offensively and defensively.:shame: :shame:

 4-0 Suns! I'm calling it. No supporting cast. Go game SUns! The Lakers have no inside presence, but Jermaine O'neal needs to come to the Lakers, and trade Kwame, Andrew and Ronny.

Throw in smush parker just for keeps.

and ask yourself, who's fault is that??? I don't feel any bit of pity for them.

Dude, I have been saying this about Smush from day 1. Notice that Phil gave Farmar the start today over Smush.

If you're not a Lakers fan to begin with, your lack of pity for them is irrelevant.
If there's someone to blame, after three years of no trades or deals, it's the general manager, mitch kupchak.

Kupchak's right down there with mchale and ainge as far as those gm's who need to go.

Well, that's the point. What came first, the horse or the wagon. What good team player would want to play with Kobe? Until Kobe changes his attitude and the way he plays:

1) He ain't never gonna have no help

2) The "help" he has, will never come close to reaching thier potential.

3) Kobe is dumb.

Gotta sleep in the bed you make. Make dumb deals, get dumb results.

Kobe's help is pathetic. The Lakers did it to themselves. King Kobe got exactly what he asked for.
