Yao no longer NBA's big man in China as Kobe rules

Houston Rockets center Yao Ming is China's top basketball player, but when it comes to National Basketball Association souvenir jersey sales in his homeland, Kobe Bryant rules.

NBA sales figures in China from the start of the season through last month's NBA All-Star Game were released here Tuesday and showed Los Angeles Lakers playmaker Bryant was the most popular with China's buying public.

Exact numbers on how many jerseys were purchased were not released, although the league said more than 400 million NBA products were sold in 20,000 retail locations in China and were expected to jump by 50 percent.

I guess jersey sales = MVP in your world as well. He Hate Me wishes the XFL was still around, he would be a 7 or 8 time MVP by now.....

No, ya got that wrong. KOBE=MVP IN MY WORLD. I've not asked the one and a half billion Chinese that question just yet, but I do plan on getting around to it when I have the time.

They know TRUE talent when they see it.:lecture:

Oh well more money for the Lakers and the NBA. Since the players have no rights to jersey sales. They are licensed by the Lakers and NBA.

Oh Well.

Now if he could just rule the Pacific.:(

 PACIFIC DIVISION that is!!

It's not about the HE....it's about the TEAM!!!!!!!
Can't understand why folks still can't see that. Mannnnn!!!!!!!!!!!!:smh: :smh:

Still NO ONE has compared Kobe's supporting cast to nash's, dirk's or shaq's, yet they still have the gall to criticize the man for his general manager's lack of negotiating skills. Still :smh: :smh: :smh:!!!!!

Man Shaq is playing with the Sr Citizens tour over there in Miami since D Wade is out.......simply put he makes it easier for his team to play with him than Kobe does with the Lakers. When will you Kobe fans understand that. Hell Utah is winning.........Jerry Sloan gets those cats to buy into his system and he is winning. I bet Kobe could not play under him and would shut that team down. I will agree that the Lakers management fugged up........they should have traded Kobe and got a bunch of picks or players for him and kept Shaq. They would be still in the mix if they did that. Oh well. It will be awhile for them now.

The first part.......................:lmao:

The second part........................Remember when I said that right before that trade went down.
Hell, I even said keep Shaq and trade Kobe for T. Mac or V. Carter str8 up.

These mofo's on this board lit my narrow arse up for saying that. :lmao:
I still stand by my statement's though.
Look's like I was right.

I would NEVER have traded Kobe for VC straight up. Kobe at least has some heart, and VC is a big sissy. Kobe for an injury-free T-Mac would have been a great trade though.

Whether he's out injured or not, Wade is still on the team, so that dog won't hunt.
Let's see here....who's my clutch player in the last two minutes of a close game? shaq? Playoff time will tell.

Shaq, without out Wade, in the watered down Eastern conference might get put out in the first round.

Kobe makes it much easier on the other players when he's being double-teamed. He passes the ball to a wide open smush parker, brian cook or a wide open bynum and what are the results. A brick house.

Still, where's the comparison of talent that dirk and nash have? Tim Duncan even has a strong supporting cast, i.e....bowen, finley, horry, ginobli, and parker.
It's okay to hate on Kobe, but while you're hatin' you can AT LEAST be honest about his lack of support.

I would have.
Vince got that rep in Canada.
Playing in Canada is enough to make a player dog-it just to get traded.

Vince has played on some so-so teams with New Jersey being the best.
We all know what their best has been.

He would have killed with Shaq.

Kobe for Vince Carter or T. McGrady? And what have these guys done? Nothing. How many rings do they have? I have more rings than both of them put together, for cryin' out loud. Neither has even been to a championship game, much less won one.

mitch kupchak send help!!
Stagg, stay away from the Lakers.....FAR, FAR away!!!!

He was playing in Toronto, not exactly the middle of nowhere. It's damn sure a nicer place than New Jersey is.

(Bitter Canadian/Raptor fan here, VC and Zo both deserve to rot, at least in my world :hat: )

Dude.................Stay away from drugs...............Far away.:goof:

It a miracle KOBE can get off the ground to shoot the way you holding on to his jewels.

Let's see................T. Mack played in ORLANDO during the years they ain't had shat.
V. Carter played in Canada.......TORONTO and NEW JERSEY...Nuff said about those powerhouse franchises.

I ain't gonna say nothing else cause a person could say team KOBE up with Jesus and you would say HE'S NOT GOOD ENOUGH.

Face it dude.........................You a KOBE GROOPIE.

Oh, now I see. You want to consider "supporting cast" when it comes to T. Mac and VC, but to heck with Kobe's supporting cast (or lack thereof)? :smh: :smh:
Please correct me if I'm mistaken.
