Kobe Bryant not budging off trade demand

OK .................... Now this nutt got himself on VIDEO.

TRADE THIS MOFO now for the most players and draft picks you can get.
He stay's on that team for the 2007-2008 season, the LAKERS will be a lottery bound soap opra. :shame:

umm....Ray Allen and his ability to see into the future says hello....*lmao*

:emlaugh: :emlaugh: :emlaugh:

This is sad.....really.... :smh:

Honestly, the Lakers are in such a state that trading EBOK might be the best long-term thing for the franchise...Regardless of where you're at, you've got to have an enviornment where younger talent is gonna be encouraged to develop at an acceptable rate. Nobody's denying that EBOK is probably the best skillset guy in the game. That being said, you've got to take a look at what hat means in the bigger picture.

for all of the bytchin' and moanin' about EBOK's supporting cast, you've got to put those guys in a position to develop their games. That ain't gonna happen when you've got the offense running through a guy that dominates the rock like EBOK do. The rest of the squad effectively becomes observers when he has the ball in his hands on the offensive end because he has carte blanche to freelance whenever he wants (which is ALOT) outside of the offense.

I take a look at Cleveland this year and see something completely different; LeBron's essentially a PG in a PF's body; The offense running through him is not only effective frome a team standpoint, but it's given some of the Cav's younger talents (Daniel Gibson in particular) to flourish and grow in a supporting roll...

they may have gotten swept by the Spurs, but the development of those players are gonna make them that much tougher to deal with in the East.

The only way LA can salvage this situation via Free Agency is to land a big-time PG, or a Big man that the triangle can run through. That ain't gonna happen because no squad in their right mind would deal some of the younger talent they have. That brings us back to player development during the season, which is the problem EBOK and the gang have now...If the franchise could wipe the slate clean and start over, now would be the time...

Unfortunately, it's gonna get alot worse before it gets better...

As a Laker fan FIRST, Kobe can go, but only on our tems, not his. If Chicago wants him, they are going to pay and any team he goes to will have to .... he is going to be in the same situation ..... a man with spare parts for teammates .... and not the same draw as he would be in Los Angeles.

Hope he likes it and New York ain't getting him for the crap they got. Crapchuck may not be the best GM, but he ain't that &*%ing dumb!

The Lakers would be a bigger fool NOW than when they got rid of Shaq, if they let Kobe go. The franchise would surely hit the bottom.

If he wasn't on the team THIS year they would've gotten the number one or two lottery pick.

What player doesn't say stuff about sorry azzed players on his team to his friends?
As usual, makin a mountain ouf of a mole-hill. Anything Kobe does is news, good or bad.

All Kobe's askin for is some help, and videotape or not, the Laker front office IS a mess and has been for a long time. And as for bynum, who in the hell is he any way? He's had three years to come around, but hasn't improved much at all. So what Kobe said WAS the truth. Ain't nothing he's never said in public, so what's the big deal?

Send Kobe to the Knicks for Jamal Crawford, Marbury, and this year's first round draft pick and build for the future. :uhoh::goof: PO KOBE

Man, the franchise started going down hill the moment EBOK pissed Diesel off and started having delusions of grandeur. Ole' dude just got caught on videotape runnin' down his teammates (y'know, the ones he, as team leader, is supposed to help mold, nurture, and develop :shame: ).

Would you see Steve Nash doin' that?

Nope....

Would you see Tim Duncan doin' that?

Nope....

Heck, you never saw AI doin' mess like that and those supporting casts he had in Philly were brutal...

Would you see Agent Zero do some mess like that?

Nope...

LeBron's a pup and he's a better team player than EBOK already at this stage...*smh*

Seein' some mess like that, what talent (young or vet) would want to put up with that mess?

:smh:

I feel your pain, Stagga....Y'all need to cut your losses now and start back from scratch.... :goodbad: :smh: :shame:

Man, you've hated Kobe all along, so you're opinion ain't worth too much when it comes to being objective in this matter.

You have NO idea what these guys did in their off the court time. AI asked for a trade several times, nuff said on that. What reason does nash have to say anything with practically THREE all stars on his team and the best supporting cast in the league?:emlaugh:
Why would Tim duncan complain when he has a worthy supporting cast?

Just shows your ignorance about the situation.

Not trading bynum to get better, especially when bynum hasn't shown ANY improvement in three years is laughable. Not getting kidd, not getting Baron Davis, not getting Boozer, letting go of Caron Butler, not letting go of bynum to get J. O'neal? That's crazy and stupid, yet yall continue to blame Kobe?! Even Shaq agreed with Kobe, yet hate still moves some of yall to blame Kobe?! Unbelievable!!!

:topic: :topic: While we are speaking basketball I have to say something. On the Lady Jags basketball schedule it showed the SWAC going to Wednesday and Friday games instead of the regular schedule and the teams will have 3 games in March instead of 2. Does anyone like the move?

Where's the article? Interesting......

Hogwash.... I don't hate EBOK at all...In fact, when he's playing with all of his marbles, he's one of the best offensive talents this game has seen.

you won't find any quotes on my behalf on this site to that effect...I'm just kickin' the reality that practically everybody else sees except yourself.

This clown was making the same complaints when Caron was there; he wasn't bytchin' when he got traded... More shot oppurtunities for him...Oh well...hindsight is 20/20 I guess, just like getting rid of Shaq.

I guess Ray was "hatin" too when he made these predictions....They're coming true....to a "T".

Dude, I don't care how sorry you think your teammates are, you don't publicly run down your teammates...That's moronic...It's serving to alienate the same folks you're gonna have to play with for an entire season, as well as sending a message that you're a jerk to the folks that could potentially be your teammates down the road...

It takes time to develop talent, especially when you've got a primadonna that's more concerned with personal accolades and outdoing Shaq than actually playing team ball and winning the right way.

Jerry West would've had a foot up his arse for pullin's some mess like that, then would've made him work with Andrew Bynum to better his game.

Just the way you rationalized this whole thing make me think you've never touched the rock a day in your life... :smh: :shame:

AI asked for a trade because management in Philly for a couple of reasons, but you never saw him throw players under the bus like that.

It's comical because you've got a tone of teams in the NBA that are in the same spot.

do you see KG throwin folks under the bus????

nope....

How about Michael Redd??? The bucks haven't been up to snuff

nope.....donn't see that there, either...

how about T-Mac...Houston hasn't made it out of he first round since the franchise left...Do you see him (or Yao) throwin' their teammates to the wolves????

Nope...If anything, take a look at how T-Mac reacted to Houston bowin' out of the playoffs early...He put it on his shoulders....That's what team leaders do . He didn't blame the most convenient teammate.

When was the last time EBOK did that?

When was the last time EBOK did that when it mattered?

man, y'all could have the best off-season in recorded memory, but it would still be iffy because of ole dudes mentality.

Until that primadonna turns over a new leaf, you're gonna see the same results...It's that simple....

But I guess this is hate, too...right? :spin::spin::spin: :emlaugh:

All those words, and you still don't make sense.

--Ray claimed Kobe ran Shaq off. Shaq dispelled that lie. Thank you.
--Kobe didn't publicly do anything to "out" ANY teammate. Th guys who recorded the conversation clearly said they had secret recordings, so there goes that argument.
--How did he win three rings if he never played team ball? Hell, he lead the Lakers in assists this year. Duuhhh??
--He wouldn't have to demand more help if West was there because West would've supplied him with help a long time ago. Besides, why is he requesting West's return? Who got rid of West in the first place? Duhhh!!
--T-Mac has Yao, who does Kobe have? Answer please.
--Leaders speak out, get things done, demand to be traded if necessary. Jordan did the same exact thing, including punch out fellow teammates. Funny you didn't mention his name and his public antics with Jerry Krause.
--Funny you didn't mention Charles Barkley and many other superstars who've demanded to be traded in the past because of poor management, who've outted fellow teammates on purpose.
--If we had the best off season in history, Kobe would've never demanded a trade to begin with. Still shooting yourself in the foot.

Simply put, Kobe was made a promise three years ago by the front office, yet the promise never materialized. Funny you keep pointing the finger at Kobe, but NEVER have you had the honesty to put the blame on the front office for NOT getting him some help after three long years. You didn't even have the mind to mention Davis, Boozer, Kidd, J. O'neal simply because you know the front office goofed time and time again, yet you and others refuse to even address the issue.
As the head goes, so goes the rest of the body. If management sucks, so will the team. I don't blame Kobe for not wanting to be a part of that losers mentality.

10. Item: The loudest and longest warning shot has come from Los Angeles Lakers star Kobe Bryant. Just three years after he signed a monster contract extension, along with Shaquille O'Neal and Phil Jackson leaving, Bryant now is demanding to be traded to a contender.

What this really means: Just the simple fact that Bryant is holding true to his stance that he wants out and owner Jerry Buss ? to this point ? refuses to relent, says this will be a fascinating summer in the drama capital of our universe. This was born out of an anonymous statement made by an "alleged Lakers insider" claiming that Bryant really was at the heart of the exits by O'Neal and Jackson.

Well, where's the news? Did Bryant happen to wake up on the wrong side of the bed that day? It seems more likely he has grown very weary of trying to shoulder the load essentially by himself and not get out of the first round of the playoffs, and saw this as a means to make a demand. He and Jackson have mended whatever problems they have had and Jackson will be back for his third season with the Lakers after a one-year hiatus.

Would they trade Bryant? Not if Jackson has anything to say about it ? which he does. More importantly, should they trade him? It is really difficult to fathom that they would let him go under any circumstances ? and right now, the abyss in the front office between Mitch Kupchak and Jim Buss seems to be at the heart of the problem. Bryant wants Kupchak out, and the most logical move would be to give Jackson the president of basketball operations title ? then go find a smart general manager such as Kiki Vandeweghe. Unless the Bulls or Knicks come up with a stupidly overstocked package, the thought of Bryant in any other uniform is impossible to grasp.

What real superstar wants to play beside Kobe. :noidea: That's the problem. Real men don't like drama queens who criticize players behind their backs and accuse Hall of Famers of hitting on their wife. If Kobe doesn't want to be there, the Lakers should seek a trade and build for the future because they can't win with Kobe and that current roster. And the Knicks will probably come up with a stupidly overstocked package. Remember, they have Thomas as their GM. The Knicks have some talent on that roster.

See previous post for the answer to your first sentence. I think you already know.
Players talkin about other players is common in all sports. Don't act like Kobe's the only one. Funny you failed to mention that Kobe wasn't broadcasting this information for public consumption. You conveniently left that part out. Wonder why.

Boy JayRob, I didn't think it was possible, but you have my young boy up here beat. I didn't think anybody could be as blinded by KoMe as much as he is, but my man, you're officially the champ, and I'll have to take back all of those things I've said about him being KoMe's #1 *****err.....ugh......fan.

Dude at some point you've got to get tired of defending KoMe. No matter what that dude says, or does, right, or wrong, you'll defend him to the end. I just hope you don't run into KoMe, and ask him for an autograph, and he denies you, because I'm afraid you just may hurt him, or something even worse.

At first I thought it was an act, but dude this schit you have for KoMe is downright obsessive. Man to man, dude step back, and look at yourself. Ain't no way in hell, should another man be defending another man that he doesn't even know everytime the muthaphugga's name is mentioned the way you do.

No offense bruh, but there are some true die hard Laker fans on this board, but yet, you're the only one fighting the good fight for KoMe ALL THE TIME! Man 2 Man, let it go bruh, let it go.

NICE
