They lost 3 games... 1 to Ga Tech (Perriloux didnt play)... lost in the last 2 minutes to Florida State.... then lost to Eastern Illinois

I never stated he wasnt a good qb... i just said he didnt impress me more than Perriloux did.
 



Dont know if Black just had a horrible game against SU, maybe it was the wet field, but I dont see what the fuss is about. He looked very average to me.

Dayum.. I missed that. Jax State is probably a lock for OVC champs this year (if they can compete for the title).

He was 12-14 in the NMSt game and rush 3 times for 31 yards. He also rushed and passed for a td in that game. Like QS said he only played 1 1/2 qtrs in that game.

In the Grambling game he rushed for 2 tds and passed for 2 tds. He was 16 of 18 passing and 10 for 85 yards rushing.

Who else in the Swac has numbers like that?

16 of 18 for 160 yards means... he threw alot of short passes....possibly quick out routes or quick passes to the running back..

For your info, KJ came into the game in the middle of the 3rd quarter with PV down 21-3 I think it was and PV lost 21-18 with two PV touchdowns called back on bogus penalty calls :lecture:

It was a driving rainstorm during the Grambling game, why throw the ball everywhere in severe rain when you have one of the SWAC's leading rushers on the field? Know the circumstances before you mouth off that the kid sin't good. J Stewart plays for Southern, but I still think the kid is a beast, don't hate on a brother becuz he isn't from your school, good player is a good player. I want my team to win, but I pull for all the players in the SWAC to do well. I cheered for Grambling against OSU. SWAC is SWAC, I bleed Purple and Gold then I bleed SWAC

for a two game total.... thats not GREAT numbers... maybe if it was a one game total... our freshman qb put up similiar numbers against PV if you want to discuss 2 game numbers....passed for 320 and ran for 205 yards for 4 touchdowns... keep in mind we had the best running back in the SWAC on our team.

Keep it real now. :lol: They both are good QB's, but Black would be second string if he played on the same team as Ryan. Plus everyone and their mommas know they gave you the SCG. It was obvious.

If you didnt want KJ to be compared to anyone else then YOUR PEOPLE shouldnt have brought up Perriloux.... Someone from PV brought up a qb from another conference...

Your "freshman" qb is in his 2nd year in school while KJ is in his third...not much of a difference. One thing that is DEFINITELY different is if Mason was being praised for his athletic accomplishments PV supporters would be standing up in support of him and not trying to knock him!
