It says a lot about the SWAC West and the SWAC as a whole that a bad team like SU can make the SCG. Just think of what schools like Northwestern are saying about our conference. If there are 50 FCS schools, SU has to be in the 40s with the other SWAC West teams right beneath them.

A team you needed a drop on an under thrown pass to win against? A team that had 3 plays inside the 5.......with better play calling....would have beat the MIGHTY JSU? Please. SU lost 2 conference games basically on the last play of the game. The Alcorn game was in OT.


You take advantage of opportunities. Tell that to the Giants who had no business winning their last 2 Superbowls against the MIGHTY Patriots based on their records. Or even the Ravens last year. You act like Jackson State is a Super Team. Please. They did not impress me at all against SU. Alcorn looked better than JSU. The Jags just beat the 2nd best team in the SWAC on THEIR home field.

No its not. It might be the best game for attendance, but this is really not fair to the other good teams in the conference. SU is just fortunate to be in a division with the PineBluffs and Gramblings of the world. That division has the worst collection of football teams in FCS. The fact that SU is in this game is laughable and it makes the SWAC look bad when you look at how they lost to NWestern/Houston and they gave up 59 points to PV and lost homecoming to Alcorn.

The fact that SU is in this game makes the SWAC look like a joke. If there is an RPI for football, then it just went down because SU in the the SCG. Every coach in the West should be ashamed of himself and fired for this foolishness. If there is ONE thing that makes us a c**n conference, this is it.

Ill bet the players at NWestern are say...SU is playing in the post season??? The same SU that we played earlier in the year? Really? How sorry is that division?

And they would be exactly right. This is a sad day in the SWAC history
 
Good thing we didn't lose to TnSt that got whipped by Eastern Kentucky 44 - 0 or they really would be saying the SWAC West is sad.

SU lost 2 games at home. SU lost no SWAC games on the road. We play waaayyyyy better on the road.

But according to sum the SCG will be like a home game since u guys have a large houston alumni chapter there...so does that mean u will lose that game since its like a home game?:noidea:

It will be. It's not on campus. A lot of distractions on SU campus game week.

"Like" a home game is still not a home game. Our team is more focused away from B.R.

Riiiight....they have a large Alumni base that didnt bother to show up on a Friday night cause they had stuff to do and just couldnt make it and the pressure on them is so great for home games that they cant perform well and blah blah blah.
These folks got more excuses than:

The only excuse they havent used is, "we didnt know our daddys growing up."
