Say Tapemaster, do you have footage of that Hornet and Bulldog fight? That was hilarious. Or even the fight when Wavey Dave and the Ram mascot was fighting in the endzone and Wavey grabbed him by his tail and started draggin him across the field?

And just like that fight, I honestly thought they were playing at first, until I saw folks tryin to break them up......well in this case, until the tiger head came off. :lol:

I can't see this at work...can't wait to get home. This was legandary...never saw it though..only heard of it a million times.

How about footage of when the GSU Lady Mascot tried to act bad and stand in front of the goal post that she KNOWS Wavey is gonna run into and and :smash:

Speakin of which....we need to memorialize (or whatever the appropriate word is) the name "Wavy Dave" so that every future JSU mascot bears that name.

He gotta be gansta though. :D

So do anybody know the story or the reason as to why Grambling mascot came out on the field to fight Wavy Dave during his routine?

Gram's mascot knew Wavey was going to dance at that show.
He told WAVEY that he was going to come onto the field when that happened.

Wavey told him not to do it.
Big HUBBA BUBBA told him not to do it.

HE DO'ed it anyway. :D

The Ram's mascot was actually trying to be funny and dance (I guess) against Wavey while he was doing his routine. And from there, it was all down hill. You should have seen the one (I think in 1989 or 1987) where they were fighting in the endzone in Memorial. That one was even funnier than this one.

We did help him up....................After Hubba Bubba slammed his arse. :lmao:

Killing part is, that was not all.
When the BOOM came off the field, them crab's from New Orleans and Greenwood, ran that fool up into the stands.
The Band wanted his arse bad on the sideline. :lol:
 
I remember that goal post incident toooooooooooooo. At first everybody was like - oooooooooooooooooooooo. Then next thing u hear is - she's a girl. Then everybody was like, "Oh well, her arse shouldn'tve been standing there - EVERYBODY knows what Wavy does at the end of his show."

Negatory, TP..... Negatory.....

I'd agree that JSU and the Sonic Boom need to commemorate Wavy's legacy, but having his name live on only tarnishes who he was and what he did. It would also draw constant comparisons as to who was the better Wavy year after year...

I think the JSU mascot's scholarship should bear Wavy's name. But let each mascot find his own niche.

Nope. A lot of school Mascots have a name. Why can't ours? In fact, you would be hard pressed to find a PWC or a professional team who's mascot does not have a name. Wavey was unique to Jackson State and BCF. The name should live on. Just because no other HBCU has produced his equivalent, does not mean we can't recognize ours.

Why our Mascot gotta be called "The Tiger"... :noidea:
 
I kinda agree with TP. I dont want our mascot to get mixed up with.........umm..........let's say Ram's mascot. LOL!!!! Let's give our mascot a name. Let Ram's mascot be named "The Tiger" "who got knocked tha --- out, twice!"

I concur. There can never, ever be another Wavy. The new Tiger proved that when he went down to the basketball game in January and almost got into a fight! :no: You can call the tiger "Bengy." :retard:

Naw, he was 'bout to get dusted by dem Indians in the stands so he might wanna find a more fitting name. I had to correct my original post to note he "almost" got into a fight (which he would've lost.)
