Say JR, if you don't know how to tell them to STFU, then let me help you:

Hey Sujagdude and Jag89, if you all are so good with numbers, procedures, processes, and government funding, then why don't yall take yall expertises over to your school/alma mater and help them out of that financial hole they're in.

See how it's done, JR?

Well JR, just tell them in your forum to STFU since.they don't know what they are talking about. That's if they are in your forum, but if they are not, then just tell them here. I'm sure they will get the message.

Beans,
Neither dude is talking to me about anything out of line. Why do I need to tell them to STFU? Do you tell GR to STFU or TP or any JSU cat when you disagree with them on something they are smacking on or saying on the sports board? Or do you always just agree with them and that's why you never say anything against any Mafia member? Seems to me you should ask yourself the same question.

SMH at you Beans.

BTW, SU ain't in a financial hole according to the State of La. According Piyush, we are the model that everyone should be looking at on how we handled his budget cuts. Mason is handling his business and yall know that.

BTW, again this is YOUR battle with those guys. I don't see you telling your Mafia members to STFU on any thread. No way you can agree with each and every one of them. If you do, you know what that means right?

-yawns- I thought the state ms had laid all of this foolish dome talk to rest. As long as the sippi pwcs are without domes, there will.be no state gov assistance in Jackson. Careful, even if you get the private funding, you'll need the cooperation of the city on some level. (I.e. businesses , hotels restaurants and tourist attractions and such.) Wouldn't want to see another derailment like the bowl game in Montgomery.

I figured you would come back with some foolishness like this, so I went back to check JSU's enrollment growth over the past few years, calculated a growth rate (because I do know how to do that) and a estimated number of students in five years. It doesn't come close to 15,000 students. Mr. Projection and Trend Analysis.

I also saw an article about a new dorm. The dorm will at 600 - 800 beds. Not 6000. Want me to link the article? You know I don't have to because you know it's true.

:smh:

I can't help but shake my head at this mind-numbing ignorance. That the city, county and state will benefit from the stadium is no secret knowledge that you all hold. It's not hard to realize that's true and to see why they would be interested in contributing. I never said the feds, county or city wouldn't be willing to help. The only entity that I suggested may offer some resistance is the state. You have to admit that's true.

My statement about funding streams was made simply to clarify that there were not 14 funding streams available to BUILD the stadium as some of your people seem to believe. Some of those will be available before and during construction. Some afterwards.

There's no need for me to argue whether a tax credit is beneficial or not. I never said it generated cash, but it's laughable that you think it's not a financial benefit.

:)

That "financial benefit for the stadium" comment went way over your head. Yes, the stadium will serve as a benefit to the city, county, and state. Tax credits make it enticing to build projects that benefit those areas. If it's a financial benefit (which I agree, but you still don't understand the context of that statement), then it is obviously a funding stream (investors).

As for enrollment, does your growth rate calculation include variables such as denied students due to capacity? Does it also take into account the proposed new campus openings? Sure there is a plan to reach that goal of 15k students that wasn't in place in the past 5 years (you know the years you used in your growth rate calculation). In the midst of all the refuting you're trying to do, you still failed to answer the first set of questions I asked. Also, if there are not 14 funding streams available, then how many are there since you said they're not? I just want to know how you know what we don't have over here.

Maybe Queen Meyers should have logged into TSPN and sought your input on this project so you wouldn't be so salty about it.

You are really mad at me for replying back to GR and jayrob, who initially asked for my professional opinion when they noticed I hadn't said anything. Thanks a lot Beans!!!!!!! :emlaugh:

JR,

You mentioned our AD earlier in this thread. If you notice, you have NEVER seen her name tied to the dome. She didn't even make the announcement. This is all Ms. Carolyn, Hoard and Rennick. Those THREE are running JSU inside and out.

CHECK...

Heck no. TFO is history. (Quiet as it's kept, Comegy won't either)

CHECKMATE...TFO contract is up at the end of the Spring so we highly doubt that she will get an extension, Highly Doubt it...She is keeping a very low profile now! As far as Comegy fans and a few administrators are getting tired with his teams play on the field...I personally not satisfied with the teams play but atleast they are winning games...he needs to win the SCG year to be at JSU 2-3 more seasons...

You're babbling just to be babbling.

If you're going to attempt to argue with me, at least base your arguments on things I actually said. Not stuff that you imagine I said.

Show me where I said there were not 14 funding streams. :noidea:

You haven't had an accurate understanding of anything I've said yet, but you think something went over my head? Dude, you're far from clever. Trust me.

You're a victim of a JSU education. The lack of reading comprehension skills is quite evident in many of you along with the inability to reason. That's a large part of your problem.

And if you think I'm really "salty" about anything, then you haven't paid attention to my activity on this board.
