Which teams beat Bluff this year. Just asking.......it kinda shows you why things can happen in the SWAC tourney the way they doo. By the way, congrats to GSU for making history for being the 8th seed and knocking off the No.1 seed in the tourney.

To be honest with you I didn't think they "had a shot" at winning. I know this left a SOUR taste in their mouth.

I think th Best team remaining in the Tournament is Texas Southern... 2nd is Alabama State... UAPB should have went down to Valley... But this tournament can be won by any of the remaining teams.. no Team is really good, its just who get on a streak at the right time of the Game... Valley wasnt consistant, JSU only down fall is that havent found out who they are yet; look for them to sweep the SWAC next year.. for the rest of the tournament, the winning team will be the team who starts Stong and ends stronger, in that can be anyone.. today grambling did that, uAPB didnt and got lucky those threes was enough to hold them until Valley beat themselvs..

March Madness has begun..........I would hate to see a team that hasn't been consistent through out the season with a bad record go to the tournament though.....

I had that feeling this shat was going to happen.
7 times out of 10, the best team enters the SWAC tournament and lose.

Oh well..............NIT bid already secure.

If you noticed, these are my first post on the SWAC B-Ball tournament.
I have seen this shat happen too many times over the years. :smh:

Me and Alcorn25 had this discussion last week.
We both said that a team with a losing record is going to the NCAA's this year and it has a real chance of happening.

I go to sleep and wake up to this? WOW! Someone said last week that a new arena new atmosphere would shake up some things! I hope we do win out but it would be bitter sweet that we won't have a chance to avenge JSU! Nothing is set in stone but it would be nice to win!

Just like in Alabama a state school was in each championship game, I just hope the Louisiana school will be Southern's Women!

Interesting...never before, huh?

To be honest with you I KNEW gram would win. Now I wish I had mentioned it.
UAPB, TSU or ASU will win the tournament. (I have not checked if TSU/ASU are still alive.)
