JSU playin some team that's only beaten them once in the last 20 somethin years. I'm tryna recall who that team is. I think they once had a 70 game losin streak. Their colors are I think purple and green?:read::noidea:

Glad to see they're going in the right direction. I always thought they were just a good QB away. I just thought he couldn't sign a decent QB. But that freshman is okay. The top QB in the class of 2009 already committed to MSU so they are set. :tup:

All of you Blue Bengals from the "Pop Warner " side of the SWAC should feel very good from this past weekend (after all, you did BARELY beat the defending SWAC Champions). However, I really don't think you should be getting your heads measured for crowns just yet (ref: Former Arizona Cardinals Coach Dennis Green). In case you haven't been paying attention (and obviously you haven't) Prairie View is bringing the funk this year. I really don't think that you're going to escape Blackshear field with a win. I congratulate you , JSU, for making it to the SWAC "GRAM-pionship" for the inaugural game, but where have you been since?? You see, before you can join the men's club, you must first prove yourselves worthy. "The G" is going back to GRAMBLING-ham with its 3rd coach in 7 years...talk about tradition. It really doesn't matter who we face at our final "home" game for the year (ask Alabama A&M and Alabama State), we're already there. The only other items on our agenda before reclaiming what is our "Divine Right" as champions is beating LA-Monroe this weekend, and finishing our "SWAC Walk" with Thanksgiving dinner (leftovers) in New Orleans. You still have some real work to do. Okay, I'll end here and let you chime in. I'll check back later, I have to log out and make my travel arrangements for Birming-GRAM!

I'm back...I was delighted to find that my tickets were paid for through my frequent flyer miles (4 previous trips to the "Gram-pionship" has it's rewards). I have travelocity open in another window. Do you want me to book JSU's travel as well?? Remember, these are non-refundable tickets. You might just want to wait until you actually win the "sacrificial lamb" division.

Yeah, I'm new to the room, but championships are routine for me.

Man, back when "Big Daddy" Coach James Carson was around (God rest his soul), J-State used to come hard, and smack-offs were smack-offs...what happened? This isn't fun anymore. I guess I'll have to start a thread against UL-Monroe fans for some excitement.

Here's an idea...have a smack-off against Texas Southern. Those are the only other Tigers that you can flex on.

Maybe we should let TSU go to Grambling-ham in our place, you know, just to even things out. What do you think??
