We have two JUCO "immediate-impact" WRs that didn't even touch the field this year. They'll be ready in 2016. One will rival Willie Quinn as arguably the fastest WR in the SWAC, guaranteed.

They're thinking since we're quiet that we're bs'ing. This years' rendition should've shown them that just because we're quiet and don't run thumping our chests like monkeys and gorillas that we don't have a talented group in the purple/gold being coached by talented coaches. smh

Oh yes sir. I've seen the stats weekly and know that we were young on defense and return 9 of 11 on D. They THOUGHT we weren't making noise this fall lol. Watch what happens when we shore up that defensive front w/ such-and-such 'nem pushing their fat assed overweight non-athletic lard OL into their QB. :D :D

Man, I'm still laughing. They really thought they were going to beat us because they beat Simmons at Alcorn last year. I kept telling them that Trey Green is not John Gibbs. He can pass AND run the ball. They saw for themselves on Saturday. They better be glad that Simmons wanted to pay tribute to the Seniors and get them as many touches as possible on Saturday.

This was also the fourth time the Tigers allowed 50 points or more, which is now the most times they've allowed 50 points in a season. They also gave up 50 points or more three times in 2005.

JSU dominated in all phases in loss to Prairie View A&M

At his weekly news conference on Monday, Jackson State interim coach Derrick McCall said his team “has been foaming at the mouth” to play an opponent like Prairie View A&M.

The Tigers got their taste of the Panthers, and it proved to be way too much for them to handle.

Prairie View A&M dominated in every facet of the game and handed JSU a 56-14 loss in a SWAC matchup at Waller ISD, in Waller, Texas, on Saturday.

This was a true measuring stick of where the Tigers stood against the second- best team in the SWAC, record-wise, and they came up woefully short.

“We got outcoached, we got outplayed. They beat us in every phase of the game,” McCall said after the game. “It’s embarrassing, We just didn’t play well at all.”
