Jordan's son won't wear Adidas at UCF...school facing $3M dilemma

That's what I am saying man! If he was all that his arse would be at a top 25.

Just because Marcus did not go to a Top 25 school does not mean he was not a quality prep basketball player or prevents him wanting to wear the brand of shoes that put food in his belly as a kid.

Heck, Stephon Curry went to Davidson Rodney Stuckey went to Eastern Washington, Danny Granger went to New Mexico. All drafted in the first-round. ( I'm not saying Marcus Jordan is as good as Curry or Granger or Stuckey. Just making a point.)

Heck, Rickie Weeks went to Southern and was the No. 2 pick in the entire MLB Draft.

It does not matter what school Marcus Jordan goes to as a barometer as it relates to his desire to wear brand Jordan sneakers.

I am not saying Marcus is right in his demands, but him attending UCF and not North Carolina or Duke has nothing to do with his right to plead his case to the university.

If this was any other kid then MJ boy this conversation wouldn't be going on and if it were all of you that are defending him would be saying phugg the other kid whose father isn't MJ.

Phugg Marcus, let him go earn his own gott damn contract then he can wear what he wants when he wants

Thank you BlueD, that is so correct. This kid need to be held to the same expectation as any other collegiate athlete. Collegiate sports are still consider amateur sporting so he cannot sign a contract with anyone ect., and if shoe apparel was an issue for him then he and "his daddy" should have kept that in consideration when choosing his school. This is not about what kept this child fed and clothed growing up. He needs to get with the program or get his butt on to somewhere else it is simple as that for me. All this other dumb sh** is for the birds.:argue2:

Why should the school lose their contract because he doesn't wan't wear Adidas???? He should taken his ass to a school sponsored by Nike.

I agree.

I agree with these quotes too. Let the kid make the NBA, become an all-star, all-pro, MVP, and/or a hall of fame player; then he can talk about a shoe contract.

Or better yet go play overseas, the NBDL or some community college in Bunksnort, Tennessee-may seeing how hard it is will knock some sense into him.

True but we didn't hear about them crying over shoes-they went to school and played the game.

What has this guy done? He's at his second school? He had to walk on to make a team? Now he wants to cry about shoes?

I've never seen this clown play. Can he play? Take Jordan away from his name
and how soon does he start for Southern or some MEAC school?

1. Marcus Jordan is NOT at his second school. His brother, Jeff, plays at Illinois. He walked on to the Illini. Marcus is the better of the two players.
