Jerry West: LeBron has surpassed Kobe as a player

6-10 FT 60% from FT is horrible, he basically left 4 points off the board. You dont see the shat I see lol. Its cool though I just showed you, this mofo fold under pressure. If he didnt miss the last 2 FTs the game outcome would be different.

Actually he missed three free throws and the announcer pointed that out. Kobe's in better shape and he knows how to pace himself and he's much smarter and wiser than Lebron. Basketball is a mental game more than a physical game.

Goodfella.. LJ didnt miss his last two free throws what are you talking about? Once again what game did you watch?

Re: The Difference Between Kobe and Lebron.......

JR Dwight was schooling Joe Smith. Alley's to the front of the rim schooling.. Lebron is indeed the team and when in trouble they just forget about offense and turn it over to him. That ish will not work against teams who have and idea this deep in the playoffs. Lebron is a beast but his supporting cast after Ilgaskis is super suspect.

Wally had no points
Ben Wallace is old
Who else they got on that bench.

They were outscored 25-5 with 5 minutes to go,. Lebron can't win it by himself.

They have a matchup problem with Howard. No doubt. But what I would have done is went smaller and quicker on the front line by bringing Joe out there. Barkley just said the same thing about taking Illgauskas out. You got to roll the dice.

Wally aint crap........he wasn't crap here in Minnesota. Cleveland should have dumped him last year.

Ben Wallace would at least get you 6 fouls. You may have employ the old Phil Jackson method when he coached Chicago and they played against dominant centers. He ran Longley, Perdue, Wennington or whatever still he had on the bench to soak up fouls on the center. That's what Brown should do. Even though Wallace is old. He can still bang and he can dish out fouls. I would have all my big guys beat the isht out of Howard all game. The Bulls were great at that.

Offensively, the Cavs just need to keep passing the ball. They will be fine. They got good looks. Just didn't play any defense in that stretch. Can't let Orlando jack threes. I would let Howard score 30-40 and but force the other players to have to make some contested shots.

He missed three in the last five minutes of the game that were crucial. He ran out of gas thus wasting a timeout. He started cramping up. He ran into a trap and lost the ball and basically ran the clock out.

LMAOOOO..... the more you talk the more stupid shit come out of your mouth.... So Kobe is in better shape? based off what? lmao@pace himself.

How many playoff games has Kobe lost this year.... how many has LJ lost? So I guess in the games the Lakers lost, LJ was "much wiser and smarter and in better shape" than Kobe.

Get D hell out of here.

I thought it was just me? lol i never said he missed FTs in the last seconds. I said he missed clutch FTs smh. Maybe it is me though lol

That's what I was wondering. Why in the hell would you bring in Wally when you were only down by one point? That was another dumb move.
When games are close, true character or lack thereof shows up.

Now Cleveland HAS to win game 2 or it's over for them.

once again you prove your ignorance... LJ got a jump ball/tie up off a missed 3 point shot. He did not run into a trap and lose the ball on the last play of the game.

And kill that "waisted timeout" ish.... Timeouts are made to be used. Hell the game ended with Cleveland still having a timeout.

you said and i quote..."he missed his last two free throws"..... didnt happen.... never said nothing about missed fts in the last second.

Damn, LeBron scored 49 points and some are critical of his play? :shame:

The last bucket LeBron made was an And 1 over the Defensive Player of the Year in Dwight Howard to foul him out of the game and give the Cavs the lead. Rashad Lewis just made some big time shots in the final seconds to give the Magic the win.

I mean, on the Cavs last possession, LeBron set up an open look for West in the corner for a three, but he just front rimmed it.

Cleveland did not move the ball in the fourth quarter and the guys just did not make shots. You have to give Orlando credit for stepping up and making plays to win.

Dude, both Utah and Houston were better than both teams Cleveland played in the first and second round. Detroit and Atlanta were walking wounded and old. Plus Detroit had wrapped up their season and quit on their coach. Atlanta had three wounded starters, so this is the REAL first test Cleveland has had. They MUST win game 2.

That's why I said Brown got out coached. He didn't make adjustments. To me that is Cleveland's weak point. Brown is a good coach and is out of the San Antonio system. But he still has some things to learn or experience.

Stern will make sure they win game 2.......lol.

Dude he had the rebound and lost it and fell to the floor after being trapped. Plus he passed the ball to scrubs in the clutch, players who had NEVER hit game winning shots like this under pressure. What was he thinking?

Lebron was 20 of 30 from the field with 49 points, 8 assists and 6 rebounds and is being criticized. What he did tonight was nothing short of amazing. Dude shoots 67% from the field and is called Lebrick. You guys have gotten caught up a little too much in this Kobe-Lebron thing and are now posting dumb shat.

messed up thing about it is DEEP down..... they was sayin damn that LJ after every made shot.

***** LA had to go to 7 games with a Houston team minus TWO All Stars.

Lebron played good ball, but during the last five minutes, their offense stagnated. Lebron ran out of gas. You have to pace yourself in these type of games. Lebron should've never passed the ball to West. He had been driving to the goal the whole game, but all of a sudden, you pass it to a third tier player for the winning shot? Yeah, right.

Van Gundy said that they had never been in that situation before and he hit the nail right on the head and it showed.

LeBron never really had the rebound. It was a loose ball and Lebron and Hedo went for the ball at the same time.

On that same possession, LeBron did the right thing. He passed the ball to an open Williams who swung it to West who was open. West just missed it. LeBron passed him the ball with 40 seconds left and he nailed a corner three.

Hey, had Steve Kerr hit a game-winning shot in the playoffs before Mike passed him the ball to win Game 6 against the Jazz in 1997? I sure don't remember any Kerr made before that game.

Re: The Difference Between Kobe and Lebron.......

And Kobe has to do the same. Some of yall want to give him all the credit for the three rings he won with Shaq. So yall aint no different.

We all know David Stern and the sponsors want Lebron vs Kobe.......but along the way he don't either of these series to end quickly either.

Stern probably had the biggest smile on his face with this Orlando win.

:lol::lol::lol:

The teams Lebrick played against were scrubs. Hell the Lakers woulda swept them too the dam hawks. When they finally play against real competition he folds bottom line.

Didn't LeBron and the Cavs go to the Finals in 2007 and been in the playoffs since then? So I'm guessing Cleveland has been in tight postseason games before.
