Janelle Monae endorses a sex strike until men stand up for Women's Rights



Gone head Janae!!! Do what you need to do and let the chips fall. Everybody grown and know how the world works, so....okay then.
 
What happens to those women whose only means of an income is through sex, such as prostitution??? I guess they'll do only blow-jobs for now. LMAO!!!

It's amazing the bright ideas these young people can come up with as a means of making a revolutionary change and there are plenty of young fools who believe in that crazy mess too. LOL!!!

The idea of a sex strike isn't new, as it has been used over time as a form of protest to raise awareness about everything from rape, violence to even attempting to influence government.

I think this case, as with most forms of protest, Monae's radical overture is trying to bring media attention to an issue she believes the public, especially men need, to be more concerned about.

Not much is going to come of this, though because too many folks would be focused on her calling for a sex strike instead of why she's calling for a sex strike.

A much better way off getting men to respect them would be the ability to fix their own vehicles. If they did that, they would put a whole bunch of male mechanics out of business, especially those that like to take advantage of their female customers.
 

That strike wouldn't last too long. At the end of the month, no more strike.

This is not a good idea. The premise of this is to punish your partner(who does nothing wrong against your cause) in hopes that it will somehow affect the actual people that are causing the problem. The idea of a "sex strike" is sexist in itself because it is based on the idea that women somehow don't enjoy sex with men and only use it as some form of currency to get their way.

Her saying this is in the same category as when Steve Harvey gives relationship advice.
 
...and the WORST thing you can do when a woman threatens to hold out is say, "ok".
