Jackson State vs Southern (5th)2004


 



Just dont see how you think SU gave JSU an ass whipping. This was a good battle, both bands brought some heat across the field. I remember hearing both bands outside of the dome, and yes SU had a more polished sound overall. JSU tuned it up for this game though. My honest unbiased opinion.

I remember seeing both bands outside of the dome and SU had a more polished sound that year. I was at this game and JSU toned their sound up, it was no asswhipping. I didnt march for the Boom or Jukebox, no reason for me to be biased about anything. Its been plenty of times where Ive admitted SU got in JSU ass. Just because SU had a more polished sound that year doesnt mean they had a better sound this game.....:lecture:

This doesnt mean that SU had a better sound against JSU. It means that they had more better sounding games than JSU has that year. The 2004 JSU band was out of control as for as balance. When they played SU the sound changed dramatically.

Hell, imma say it again..... We whooped dat AZZ, <POINT BLANK>. Notice the obvious lack of rebuttals from the "Boomers". The 2004 battle is a year they NEVER talk about. I know 5 people who were marching in The Boom in 2004, and they don't talk about it either. I, as a JSU fan, JSU hater and, as a Juke, was disappointed 2004 listening across the dome in 2004.:noidea:

I have listened to these clips twice and my conclusion is that we had two bands that USED TO be great trying to scream at each other rather than playing very much music.

Will someone please answer this for me? Who started the habit of loading up for every accent? All of that horn bobbing just annoys me.

I was taught part of what makes volume musical is to give the appearance that it is effortless.

It's okay Nacho. I have spoke to MANY-a-Boom-er, all of which come to the same conclusion I did, just without saying it..... It's all good though. We do love y'all... Well, maybe not love, but we DO like y'all ALOT more than we like :vomit:*ramblin.

I think that is the WORST JSU (sound) they have EVER brought to a game...Southern waxed that arse...
