Jackson State vs. Mississippi Valley (updates)

One more thing............

Valley looked pretty impressive in their new unis. Their offense kept us guessing for a good portion of the game as well, until about midway through the third when our D finally took over. Shawn Gregory(JSU alum) is a real up and comer as an offensive coach. While I'm still not sold on Totten as a head coach, his team did show a lot more effort and overall talent than i've seen from Valley in a long time.

Valley looked damn good in them unis. And I was glad to see that we have new unis as well. Same style, but new.

Just called TP, he claims there is 40K there for J-State's homecoming -- J-State is on Valley five yd line -- 2 minutes before the half.

Attendance was officailly 37K+. Add in the students and it was easily over 40K.

Great crowd.....the best Ive ever seen for homecoming. That was real nice.

Valley is an OK team. I really like the changes Totten has made. They should beat some folks. If I were an Alcorn or Bama fan, I would be careful. You guys dont play defense that well and they have a pretty good passing attack.

Game should not have been that close. The fumble should never had been called back, and I don't see how they let the ground cause a fumble on out possesion.

negro what kind of tweeds are u smoking, actually the game should have been closer. I'll give u four instances. In the first quarter, when Weaver dumped the ball of to the tailback and nobody was within 20 years of him, and he dropped the damn ball.

#2 how about when we were driving down the field at the beginning of the 2nd quarter and had to settle for a field goal.

#3 when we were driving and out quarterback inexplicably threw the ball right to a JSU defender, halting everything.

#4 the back breaker on the damn one yard line and can't punch the ball in, (1 FRIGGIN YARD!!!!)

Relax and breath bruh before you pop. The previous comments were only one man's view of the game and everyone is entitled to have that in the USA.

Nevertheless, I am happy to see that Valley has developed a nice up and coming program to bring back the traditional want to see contest with JSU. Good luck on the rest of your schedule!

Dude, drops are a part of the game. Any fan on this board could whine about drops that "might have" made a difference a given game.

Uuh, did it ever occur to you that our defense simply made a stop in the red zone? It happens weekly in stadiums all across the country.

#3 when we were driving and out quarterback inexplicably threw the ball right to a JSU defender, halting everything.

As if picks and mistakes in judgement aren't a part of the game....

See reply #2. An alternative reply would be:
Ain't our fault your goaline offense is that weak.

Please, yall should not have even been in the game. We played with you for most of the game.
