Jackson Mayor Frank Melton

:lmao: @ Mak.

Damn, Frank must be a big dummy to pose with them girls for that photo shoot. Happy they were doing something so as Mayor I'm going to pose with these wanna be video girls to help promote the city. :retard:

Sarge, who is the photographer?

How in the HELL were you fooled by him the first time? :shame: My choice is Harvey Johnson. I worked in his administration and YES he was slow, but He's a city planner and had alot of connections! I have a book of his accomplishments during his 8 yrs in office.

Anyone who was fooled didn't know much about him. Anyone remember Bottom Line??? Heck, his @$$ was tearing up the streets then...lol When he was elected, I was like :retard:...how da L :noidea: did that happen? People must not be watching the same Melton I'm watching...lol

.Melton called The Clarion-Ledger when the photos began popping up in e-mail in-boxes last week to explain.
The mayor said he was leaving after eating lunch at Peaches Café on Farish Street when he saw what appeared to be a photo shoot with the barely clad women. Melton said he was told it was a photo spread for a magazine called "J" and involved the ladies and some antique cars.
"They were from here," he said.
Melton said the photographer — who realized Melton was mayor of the city — asked him to be in the photos and he agreed.
"I was just so excited somebody was doing something on Farish Street," Melton said.
Melton did not say when the photos were taken, but apparently they are not very recent. Melton's heart problems have resulted in significant weight loss over the past four months and the photos show him considerably heavier.
An Internet search found a few magazines that go by the initial "J." One is the in-flight magazine for Kuwait-based Jezerra Airways, another is a weekly covering happenings in the Jewish community in San Francisco, while a third is a Portuguese fashion magazine. .

O L nawl!!! :scared: :shame:

Frank the Pimp!!!

4 More Years!!! 4 More Years!!!

I guess Johnson is the better of two evils. However, i will take back what i said about hoping that Frank gets re-elected. While I think he is the better mayor, too much negativity surrounds him because he tried to do too much.

what has Frank tried to do?

I count 3 votes and when all the cousins, aunties, Uncles, Grand Moms, Moms, Fathers and church members for closing the crack houses and renovating Lynch Street, he will get re-elected.

In all honesty I was all for Frank or anybody but Harvey Johnson. My father in law and Harvey are tight but I was always mad at how Jackson looked when Harvey was in office. It just seemed like he was holding the seat hot.

Then after he lost I found out all the stuff Harvey was working on and trying to get to Jackson and I was upset with myself for even thinking he was not the right guy.

Oh well I couldn't vote but I sure wished him out..

How close was the race? Did he win by a landslide or less than 1000 votes.

Did only 25,000 vote?

not exactly sure...I was only 19 at the time and really didn't pay too much attention, all I did was go vote for Harvey Johnson( i found out good ole Frank from his neice or cousin, can't remember which one she was, in high school:lol:) and didn't find out who won until my mom told me so i never saw the numbers but i'm pretty sure he won by more than 1,000 votes though...

I dang sure won't get fooled by that nutt Frank melton again.
Sorry I voted for his crazy arse the 1st time.

Players that damn Frank has made us the laughing stock of the nation. I could kick myself in the arse for voting for this nut. He pulled a fast one over on everybody that voted for him. I seriously think this man is mentally sick.

I can't believe yall got bamboozled the first time. I guess most folks didn't know the Frank Melton that I know. I've known him personally for some years and I am friends with a lot of the youth that he "helped out" throughout the years. Frank is mentally unfit for any public office.

I voted for Harvey (even after Phrat took a shot at my chapter, but that's another story lol). The progress (if any) that has been seen since Frank's tenure is the work of Harvey Johnson.

Correctomundo! Municipal government is a slowwwwwwwwwwww puppy. Real change takes more than one term. Additionally, Frank has proven also that one term can take a city straight to HELL w/gasoline draws.

Yeah.
He was chasing Donald Ray Quinn and those boy's.

We all knew Frank was crazy but NOBODY EVER thought he would lose his mind like he has.
We all knew some "out the box" methods was comming but nobody thought he would start b=reaking the law and have as little effect on crime and business as he has had.
HE HAS DONE NOTHING.

But now they want Johnson back.

Like I said.
harvey Johnson is responsable for everything being developed in Jackson right now.
he was a City Planner before he was Mayor.
Looking back at it, Harvery Johnson 2 problems was:

#1) He did pay law enforcement any attention.
He didn't get involved at all and hired the wrong police Chief's.

#2) We all said he moved too slow and didn't involve many people in the planning loop.
But looking back on it, every project Harvey Johnson put up has panned out to be well planned, funded, backed, and just what Jackson needed to grow.

If Harvey Johnson was the Mayor with McMillian as Police Chief, he would have never got voted out.
