Man I think I actually vomitted that game. It was actually 28-0 in the 4th quarter. Bama State band kept playin Jesus is Real.... and Bama State scored 4 touchdowns... took it to OT and WON the game. Probably one of the biggest comebacks in college football.

That was probably my all-time favorite MCC as an Alum.  That game was off da chain!!!

Now as a student at the time, I'd have to say MCC 94. That was probably the first and last time we had a BOTB/Stepshow at the Civic Center that Friday night before the game. Then game day, the weather was PICTURE PERFECT. Our halftime show was also one of my all-time favorite shows (The "Disappearing" DM act).

Yeah The Coach Came and handed our band director the game winning ball at the end.... WOW I forgot ya'll had the lead up until the 4th

shawty... I need to see that show again... I remember being in high school and saying DAMN HOW THE HELL THEY DO THAT. I need a slomo replay of that show lol...

My favorite Bama State show was probably the Africa tribute (around the early 90s) when they made a formation the shape of Africa and had the African dancers come out..... and their dance routine from 96 Classic.

OH YEAH I especially remeber the do you wanna ride> Another MCC memorie I have is in 97 when we took the field at half time, the Sky just opened up. and I can't stand the ran was in our dance routine

My favorite has to be 99... It was our first time winning classic in a while and we won in the last minute of the game. The crowd went crazy... MMW started playin 400 degrees. Here is a clip from the documentary Take the Field. It starts off with halftime from SU-AAMU game, then Magic City Classic practice, the band entering Legion Field, halftime, then late in the 4th quarter. Its a good clip.

See if you can repost that clip. I remember MMW play Ring my bell and If you had my love in the stands in 99. That was a good game

Shat, I STILL don't know how he did it. In fact, we didn't even know what the DM's were going to do for their entrance because at first, they were going to do a fat DM entrance (Big Gig  ). So we were standing on the sideline lookin like WTF??? :what:

But I got it on tape.......if I get a copy on DVD, I'll send it to you.

Wasnt that the game where Bama State fans was throwing trash at the MMW????

I really enjoyed the 98 classic. I was in the 10th grade. Both bands that year were a beast! Both halftime shows were crunk (bama state did the hambone to rosa parks by outkast) and both bands played hard knock life by JayZ in their dance routines. I also remember bama state playin thinkin about it:eek::eek: that song was a beast. I also remember the MMW playin Tyrone and everybody in the stands singing it LOL!

I don't think I didn't enjoy each and every last one of my classic's marching. But the one i loved the most is my freshman year. I was so nervous and crunk and the same time. My LB was a no show for the parade and we all know what happened the night before. So all my LB's didn't know what to expect when we got back to Huntsville but he made it before the game. Then all week you had to hear if you mess up( fill in the blank). But we did our thang and blew State out of Birmingham. And yes I am talking about 2001 and if any of State people disagree. Please let me know
