Is there really anyway to save our young youth of today?

No I say I believe what I SEE in our own neighborhoods, not what stats geared towards overall numbers say. I said that was a dumb comparison to begin with so I'm not sure exactly HOW that's what I asked for. It's exactly what I said was pointless from the get go. People want to point to a stat to say fewer teens get pregnant but there's never been a time in history where more black kids were raised by single mothers lol. This is why your stat quoting is dumb, once again it doesn't point out the entire picture. That stat also doesn't point out that NOW, unlike then which was supposedly a "worse" time for us, that only 30% of black kids are born in wedlock lol. But you want to point out a stat on a sheet that says our situation is actually getting better. Oh, ok.
Ok so since we're looking at "statistics" to base opinions off of let's look at the reality of these statistics. As of TODAY, right now, black males murder 14 times more than white males. Is this better than it used to be? Again, we're talking about overall numbers which really mean nothing in relation to this conversation. Was violence by us against us better than it was 30 years ago? If you say yes, then I can't help but laugh at you. And i'm not talking about is this "number" lower than that "number"...I don't get what's so hard to understand about that. Lol, I mean there were more murders then, but would you have rather walked through Compton while the Panthers were there or now while the crips and bloods are there? Would you rather have lived in Clayton County 20 years ago, or now?
I think some of you need to take into consideration that we make up 12% of the population, which is why I don't bother using overall numbers. People are really in here trying to convince themselves that our communities are in better shape now than they used to be based off of some stats lol. Don't even know what to say to that one.
