Is The 'Strong Black Woman' Stereotype Hurting Black Women?


I haven't watched the video, but I can say hell yeah. Plus their stanking azz attitudes. Black women are mean towards every one accept thugs. They swear you down they don't have any friends who like thugs, but when you look around you see the same chicks with one......

The women like thugs until they get in to their 40s and realize that the thug will have no retirement, social security, or health care. The nerd or college guy is living life and happy. I have seen it happy too many times.

I never understood the term "strong black woman." I love an educated woman who is virtuous. Many times single women want that happiness and joy that a married woman has but fail to understand that it takes work, understanding, and flexibility.

My wife and I live by a motto: "Husbands are the head of the household but wives manage it."

Notice I said husbands and wives and not men and women. Being a husband is much more than being a man and a being a wife is much more than being a woman. That's why my wife and I love those couples who are in their 80s and been married 40 and 50 even 60 years. They give real advice.
 
Y'all need to watch the video...A lot of y'all dude's actions, views, negative attitudes is why black women are so strong in the first place...hell, a LOT of y'all don't have our backs....and we are dying because of lack of support and trying to hold it all together in spite of...

Yeah, this is about to be a clusterfuck topic with no real dialogue already....

How many of you have our back?

We were just at my mother's home when a health insurance commercial came on. The media and advertising giants are pushing interracial marriages and often times the commercials with black males have him doing something goofy while the white mail in the commercials is a devote father etc......

See black women want these titles or should I say "adjectives" in front of black to increase their stance and worth. All that crap is not needed. We are so busy trying push male and female worth that we are forgetting that those who are truly empower are basically programming us to accept their belief of what is right.

You have to be joking...all this riding and dying that's been going on since forever??? And what title do we want in front of our names besides Queen? How you gonna blame black women for a white company putting out interracial marriage commercials (Please remember on the last black woman topic, one of ya bruhs had to insert white women because he wanted black women to know he had options, no commercial needed to prompt it either) or goofy black men commercials? How did you make that leap? That's called scapegoating which the world has gotten real use to doing to black women. WAtch the video and see the cost.

See you want to say ONLY women are riding and dying and that mess just is not true. You would be quite happy with black men not being shit. That would give the black woman a place to complain. Period. I give my props to the sisters who I know but I know some sisters who ain't shit, will never be shit, and don't want shit but some shit. The men they want ain't shit, won't ever be shit, but portray an image of being the shit.

Then we get these lopsided videos and articles blaming EVERY black man for the problems of the black woman.

See what you do is pull and tug. For example if a man is not giving a woman her props completely without criticism they are good in your eyes but when a man gives props and also criticize he is considered all these negatives.

It's all bullshit. Men need to STFU and do what men do and women need to STFU and do what women do. The problem is women want to be married but have no idea of how to get and keep a husband while men want to be husbands but have no idea of how to be a husband. The issue of husband and wife starts long before the marriage begins. Then you end up with all these male and female bashing articles and videos.

I see countless of women saying they are WIFEY material.....WTF is wifey material?
