On my lunch hour today, there was a big discussion on current overtime rules on sports radio. Specifically, they were discussing the NFL's "Sudden Death" rule, and whether or not its the best, and fairest way to resolve a game.
Should the NFL come up with a new rule? What about college football? I'm sure high school football rules vary widely from different parts of the country, but what about them too.
What about the fact that the current college rule negates the effect of kickoff and punt returners?
If you could change the college or NFL rule, what new rule would you initiate?
Some say just play an extra 15 minutes, and if it ends in a tie, then it just ends in a tie. I wouldn't be for that.
What do you guys think?
