hmmm, you're probably right, about that....I've gotta find one, though. I had one, years ago, but I have no idea where he is now.

I heard that dissertation defense is like being hazed. One of my current professors said his PhD was one of the worst things he has ever been through.

I will say it has been an interesting process. One that I'm ready to be rid of! I think many programs are quite different with regards to the defense meeting. I've attended several in my department and it is more of conversation than a hazing procedure.

Where's the best place, to take your vehicle, for a brake job?

Don't tell us you need brakes already?

Didn't you just buy that vehicle last year?

I'm also thinking about getting some of those yard signs. You know the kind that people get when a baby is born. But I want something like, A PhD is born. I'll need one for my house, momma, the old neighborhood and I'll put some up over is her old neighborhood in Houston.

:D

Yes, I will get mine bound.

I purchased my graduation regalia last week. It put a dent in my wallet. :( For the traditional PhD regalia it was $349. I could have purchased the regalia with the UGA insignia on it for $499 ---NOT!

If a woodchuck chucked in the forest and no one ever heard him, how do we know he really chucked?
