This is how I see the game going.

Call it what you want but, Robert Kent should not spend half his time this Saturday night against Northwestern worried about a balanced offense. He shouldn't even be...

I'll give Bell's new balanced offense 4 series at best before Kent and the boys say "Dayum this nonsense, we fixin to air this mofo out".

Actually it makes plenty of sense, Northwestern has probably spent most of its time on getting ready to stop the JSU running game based on scouting reports. Plus defenses are usually ahead of the offenses this early in the season

You shole is right, thames.

TUESDAY'S UPDATE: Northwestern State coach Scott Stoker has heard reports saying Jackson State plans to run the ball more this season. But. . . "When you've got a QB (Robert Kent) who has thrown for nearly 10,000 yards and three WRs back who had over 50 catches, you gotta think they're are going to throw it."

beans,
too bad you aint got the good sense(thanks rob) to realize that Northwestern's coach is basically saying that he doesn't expect Bell to be THAT dumb!

MH, why are you here? Oh, I forgot. This is a JACKSON STATE thread. I know what the Nwstern coach was implying. Some folks.

Maybe we should put that crap on the field that Grumbling
did last weekend. That chuk and duck remedial offense only
works in the SWAC against PV and PB. I wish Kent would
go against Bell...his ass will be holding a clipboard for
the rest of the year.

We have a smart coach Lames...I mean Thames. Not a dumb coach
like Doug. Can Doug be any damn dumber.

I've watched one moron after another say this same crap time and time again when it's obvious you have no idea of what you are talking about. Just look at last year's stats and see if you notice anything about JSU's balance between rush and pass :

Hey GR... Just a few questions for you.

Is Bell still a genuis?
Did that 20 yards rushing mean more of a balanced attack than last year or less?
Did kINT's 13-31 performance mean that he could hit the broad side of a barn?
Or was that not being able to throw the ball in the ocean from the beach?
Is kINT now a coward, too?
How did he feel being benched? (I know you know)
How did you feel when they took their starters out?
Were you happy with only scoring on their third string defense?
Were you happy with only scoring with 10 seconds left in the game?
Were you even still there to see that?
Do you know you were 10 seconds away from being shut out by a IAA squad? (You know the division you are in)
Was that your all world offense with all that great talent?
Didn't they start true freshman on their defense?
Which one of those running backs did you say was good?

Oh yeah... One more question. Did ya'll practice?
