Vicksburg to Alcorn is a straight shot down Hwy 61. Less than 40 minutes.
From Jackson State, you have to first get to I-20 and from there, Vicksburg's about a 40 minute drive.
Alcorn's a bit closer.

And, no Google doesn't know what it's talking about some of the time. Never use Google Maps, as an FYI.

Man yall need to be talking about why yall coach had no faith in his offense getting down the field by 1 yard with 5 minutes left in the game.

Now jayrob, I didn't see the man leaving the game from my living room couch, but it's strange how you are on here describing every step he made. You sound like some little kid that says, "and then and then and then" over and over again.

But I-20 is a control access highway with high-speed vehicular traffic, whereas Hwy 61 is neither. I'm glad you know more than google, but I did a point to point direction from the center of Vicksburg, MS to Alcorn and JSU. Damn you Google for fk'ing up routes.

What's to talk about? All we needed to do was force a 4th down (which we'd done), force a turnover (which we'd done) or get a big play on special teams (which we'd done). Props to SU for being able to run out the clock. Hughes made a decision, it didn't work out and we move on.

You're talking about it enough for everybody in the SWAC. You still need more attention?

I've made trips to on both routes, so yes, I know more than Google- a site that made me take 12 minute route to a location 4 minutes away from me just last week.

He knew his offense and defense was dead tired. He was hoping that SU made some mistake that would have given them a touchdown. Tillery basically walked them down the field on the last position of the game. He probably could have scored, but it was no need to do so.
